You know what I started eating to cover the carb-cravings (cause I get them A LOT) is hummus. It's carby-feeling and tasting to me, even though it's really not. And you can eat it with pita chips, so it FEELs like two carbs at once. :D but, also though, the other thing I've been craving? Anything with vinegar. All of a sudden, I really WANT salt and vinegar chips and pickles. I mean, I normally am sort of "eh" about the chips and pickles, but I really really want them all of a sudden AND! I found this brand of pickles, called Bubbies, which has like,2% vitamin A, 2% vitamin C, 2% iron and 2% calcium in it, so I'm like, "oh, it has vitamins, so it's GOOD for me, right?" The bread and butter pickles are quite tasty. The nice thing for me is that normally, non-pregnant, I have no appetite. I can go for hours and hours and hours and not think to eat something b/c I just don't feel hungry. (this is not good for me.) So, It's quite nice to be like, "Oh. I'm HUNGRY. Must eat." because now I know I'm not going to starve myself by accident. 'course, I'm only about, what, 5 weeks, so I've already gained several pounds. O.o I was hoping not to gain more than 15 lbs this pregnancy, b/c I'm already technically "obese" and I don't want to deal with that drama while pregnant, but... Oh, well.
