I have a well loved Ergo in black and cranberry. The hood was professionally altered so it can be removed (it velcros on with some heavy duty velcro) The mama I bought it from had it done. I've always just left the hood on anyway and you really can't tell that it is removable. There is some fading on the inside and on the tops of the straps (where dd chewed when teething). There is also a faint spot pink on the underside of the hood where some bleach got on it - see picture for closeup. It isn't visible when the hood is down. Other than that, it is still in good condition. Asking $50 ppd, will ship via priority.
