I'm only nine weeks, I don't feel like how I carry myself should be all that different. But I keep getting the distinct feeling that I'm waddling.
I am 8 weeks tomorrow, and, as of today, feel my lower back slipping in and out of place. It's the relaxin hormone, and it's happened sooner and worse each pregnancy. My last one I started feeling it really early, too, and wound up with my back/hips being majorly out of place more than once.
It's one of the reasons why I have been lifting weights. I have to be careful not to damage my loose ligments, but I need muscles to hold me together! I feel floppy!
I posted in the weekly roll call that I am waddling too! I am 8 wks 3 days and my lower back feels achy and loose and that is why I am waddling too!!! It has gotten worse with each pregnancy. The waddle is particularly prominent if I have been laying on the couch and I need to get up. I feel like I am 7 or 8 months already!
I have the issue with loose joints right now too, which can make me feel like I'm waddling, although I don't think it's noticeable yet. I've been to a physiatrist for back & neck pain and he's adjusted me twice. Both times my hip and/or pelvis was out. I have a feeling that is only going to get worse. I'm trying to do stretches to help strengthen my back. I had pretty bad sciatica problems last pregnancy in the 3rd trimester and I hope I'm not going down that path again.
