13 Months Postpartum and I have to pee ALL the time, it's getting old.

So ever since I had been pregnant I have had to pee alot. It's 13 months later and I'm still breastfeeding but I have to pee all the time it seems.

I get up 2-3 times a night sometimes regardless of how much fluids I drink before bed. And might be TMI but sometimes I have to excuse myself and pee in the MIDDLE of sex because it's uncomfortable. And rarely I also leak and don't seem to pee everything at once. It's really annoying and I can't begin to think of how it will be when I get pregnant :(.

From what I have read I guess frequent urination could be from diabetes (hope not) or a cystocele which I had never heard of before today. Good thing I have a pap appt next week, but until then....advice, thoughts?

I have had to pee a lot since I got pregnant with DD (even before I got pregnant again). I think a lot of it is due to the fact that I wake up at night because of nursing, so it alerted me to the fact that I had to pee. If you are sleeping soundly, you probably wont get up to pee, but most mommas are not sleeping soundly. Just my theory.

do you have any other weird symptoms? I have Interstitial Cystitis which makes me feel liek I need to pee all the time but I also have discomfort. Do you think it couldbe pelvic floor issues?

My guess would be pelvic floor issues. I just spoke about this with my doctor & there is actually physical therapy that you can do to help. Maybe ask your doc.
