Is there a season for Pertussis?

I've been trying to find out if there is a time of year when pertussis is more prevalent?  We had our 2 month appointment this week and didn't vaccinate, because I need to do more research.  I live in Boulder where there seems to be a lot of pertussis each year, so that's the one I'm most worried about.  I'd prefer to delay vaccines until ds is older.

Yes, there is a season!  I was just discussing this with my ped today at DS's 1-month checkup.  I told him I was considering DTaP at 2 months and Pc and/or HIB at 3 or 4 months, and he said I should consider reversing the order, because pertussis season is in the springtime, but Pc or HIB is more likely to strike in the fall/winter.

I've read that peak season is August, which is when my son got it last year at age 1.5 yrs, and then the rest of the family.  Ascorbic acid was a life saver.
