low supply in the evening?

I am suspecting I am 'running out' of milk by 6pm most nights- it seems to replenish by 9.  Is this even possible???  It doesnt seem right- that's his fussy and needy time and I would think my body would know that????

DS was preterm so I had a scale that weighed to the gram and he'd nurse and then I'd pump.  In the mornings, I would produce literally 6 times what I'd produce at night.  My supply would steadily decrease during the day.  Not exactly sure why, bc DS would nurse during the night as much as during the day, but I think maybe the sleep just helped my body make more in the morning.  It seems like a lot of my friends have experienced the same thing.
