As far as things that I would add to the list of supplies to have on hand - I'm also going to make sure to have my placenta smoothie ingredients on hand, and a carefully written out recipe on how to prepare it. I'm not planning to make my own smoothie.
For my first birth, what I was drinking in labour was extremely important, since my water broke before contractions started, and DD wasn't engaged yet, so I was literally gushing litres of fluid. So I was making pots of RRL tea, drinking lots of my homemade Labourade, but even more Emergen-C, because it tasted better at the time. And juice too. I had also made Labourade popsicles, though I didn't eat any of those, because I was at the hospital during active labour. I think I will have yogurt pops on hand for my homebirth labour as well. Or perhaps coconut milk/water and lime pops.
Not that I think it will happen this way again, but I am going to have more supplies on hand to deal with early water breakage. I was totally at a loss as to what to do with birth water leaking everywhere, especially when I had to leave the house to go to a midwives appt. i think I'll just stuff cloth diapers in my panties.
