Hi everyone, I just realized that I have been watching the thread but I haven't posted in a while. I am on CD26 here, about 10DPO. I am not feeling any symptoms, just tyring to focus on AF staying away! Is anyone else around the same point in their cycle?

So - heavier spotting today, but definitely no flow. The blood is not just brown anymore, but usually on CD1 of AF, it's HEAVY (pre-baby and the last 2 cycles). My temps were back above my coverline this morning. So, I'm a bit confused!
I'm assuming it's AF and that I had a short LP (9DPO). Hopefully it stops tomorrow and my temps stay high! Thanks for all the good advice/support mamas.
Here's my chart this month too - last month it was beautifully tri-phasic and everything... this month - not so much! http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/37fdd4

Still no AF here and all negative tests. I don't believe I am pg. I have been doing research and as the only new thing I introduced was the Vitex and based on the info I found and my experiences with it at other times I have stopped all use of it and am hoping it's out of my system within a week and my cycle will show up very soon. I am watching ovulation just incase i ovulate before my next AF comes although I may just start again without any ovulation.
I have had no luck with any sort of normal things that help women which just shows me that Father is in control and I need to leave it in His hands. So I am going to let my body function on it's own without any aids even natural ones and pray! I wish I wouldn't have taken the vitex at all and when I was using the progesterone cream it caused me to bleed so I no longer use that. Didn't use it this cycle..
So that's what's going on with me...nothing good..:(
Ava's Mama, I'm 9 dpo and no symptoms either. I have no plans to test unless AF doesn't show up next Wednesday. I'm glad my luteal phase seems nice and long, but this is the downside of it! The 2 ww is close to two and a half weeks.
Batia and WendyJo, sorry your cycles are being so frustrating. I hope you'll get some clarity soon! Batia, before DD I tried Vitex unsuccessfully too. I know it works for a lot of people but it didn't seem to agree with me either.
Just checking in ladies. 9DPO. I tested this morning just because....
There was a big chunk taken out of the test area (gotta love the quality of the "cheapy" tests) but I really am not surprised by the BFN. I don't have alot of faith in this cycle, since I didn't ovulate until CD 49 and I had been taking progesterone cream to try to get a new cycle started (after giving up on this one). Just ready to move on to a healthier cycle with a "normal" O time. My LP is usually either 13 or 14 days so I've got 4-5 days left until the
shows up. I don't really see her that often, but when she does visit she stays WAY too long. I guess DH and I need to be "making the most" of the few days we have left before I'm out for 7+ days.
Last year DS was 3 weeks old on Halloween so we didn't do anything! I feel like we're really enjoying the time of year this time around though. Our zoo did a "not so scary" halloween event 2 weekends ago where they turned different sections into themed areas (video games, dinosaurs, wizard of oz, superheros, pirates, etc) and the kids trick or treated. DS was a spider and DH and I were spider webs. We also went to the pumpkin patch last weekend with our family and let DS "paint" his pumpkin (mostly himself
) he's really silly, as most 1 year olds!

Kelantan - I love all your Charlie Brown photos! Too cute! And yay! for your O! I hope it works out as you say!
WendyJo - I've had implantation bleeding, starting at 8 DPO all the way through 12 DPO and a few odd days after that. Also, I never get good sleep, but I think my temps are ok. I just take my temp the first time I wake up at night, because it's generally my longest stretch of sleep. Here's hoping your temps stay up tomorrow!
Carlin - Wowza! Looks triphasic to me too!!
Batia - You certainly speak truth when you say I should leave it in our Father's hands. You make me second-guess that I started Vitex recently. I hope things straighten out for you soon.
AFM - My dear Aunt Flo showed up today after almost exactly two years! Never thought I'd be happy to see her again!
Wendy, I am temping and I have read TCOYF. I also got the Garden of Fertility at the library the other day and set my room up for Lunaception last night. Oh, I also started taking Vitex about a week and a half ago, because I read it often causes lactating women to start their periods again. Guess it worked! I hope it extends my luteal phase, because if I ovulated last Wednesday, as I thought, my luteal phase is only 8 days. I'm hoping Lunaception will take care of that. Guess we'll find out. I'm really hoping we can get pregnant this month, because that would make our kiddos exactly two years apart! I know it's pretty wishful, but it could happen, right? Anyone else get pregnant with their first PPAF?

Ibreed -- I just saw the cutest baby spider costume on pinterest where the mom dressed as a spiderweb too. That's a great idea! And, boo for that negative test, but I wouldn't count yourself out just yet, it still seems way too early to count yourself out just yet!
Carlin and Batia -- I seem to remember Vitex doing some weird things to my cycle when I was TTC DD, but I didn't record what, and my mama-brain just can't remember. So, I'm experimenting with it again, and so far so good.
Carlin -- I am so excited to see how your temps evolve these next few days. That chart is looking good!
Starlight -- wooohooo for AF!!! I was so excited to get my PPAF too. It felt like a fresh start. My luteal phase has been super short too since my PPAF -- 8 days is average, and I just started B-6 with the hopes of extending it. What day did you usually O before you were pregnant? Hopefully the wait to O is a short one for you!
AFM -- still no positive OPK, but I'm getting close, I hope. My DH leaves for London on Monday, so I'm hoping to O in the next few days, or I'll be out for this cycle.

Wendy No advice really on brands. Mine is from Primark (don't know if they have that outside europe) and was in my bundle of clothes I got 2nd hand so not tried any other types. What I would say though is a little bit of elastic on the ankle is a good idea. If the legs are a touch long it'd be handy to have them hold on the ankle so they can still walk about a bit in the evening without getting frustrated because their foot has disapeared up into the leg! Last night my son went to bed in his fleece all in 1 with his knitted crown on (his choice). HE looked so much like the boy in where the wild things are. It's just a shame I didn't have the camera to hand, it was adorable.
Ok so I can now be moved to 2WW now. I've been a bit dubious after the last fake O that ended up not being O in the end. But my temps aren't going up and down, they're staying up and are consistent. After 50 days I think I have finally ovulated. Now to see if I get pregnant and if I managed to conceive a girl. We did BD on O day so that might not be good girl timing. Ah well guess we'll just see what happens. I did finaly cave and order a load of pee sticks. That's probably what made me O to be honest. I have 30 opks and 10 preggo sticks coming. Fingers crossed I don't need them.
Starrlight congrats on getting your ppaf. It's a bummer when you have to get af, but at least it means things are moving. My experience on lp from aftermy first birth is a long annovulatory cycle, 6 day lp cycle, then bfp cycle. So don't worry if it's short one month. It can click back quickly.
Batia so sorry things are frustrating. It's hard when we try to help our bodies but don't even know if it's helping or hindering. I hope you figure out what's going on soon.
Wendy OK now then the spotting, is it strong enough for tampax or just light panty liner? I've had implantation bleeding twice. Wasn't charting first time but 2nd time was about 10dpo. When I clickon your link it only shows ttc while bf, no chart. On http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2501f0 can you see my two charts? Can you see the March 5th one? If you see I really dipped and spotted. Heavy spotting, but not enough for tampax, only a panty liner. I always think if it's still a liner it could be impantation, if it's a proper pad or tampax it's AF. All you can do is wait it out and hope it dries up and your temp goes back up.

Wow - thanks for all the advice Mamas! Yet another confusing day. My temps are still high (getting higher) and there's definitely still spotting/light flow. I have cloth pads and I had just a small spot on one wearing it all day yesterday and everytime I would use the ladies room, there would be a few drops of blood when I urinated (which was often - 5x yesterday)! Definitely not enough to fill a tampon I don't think and today it seems about the same. There was no blood at all through the night and dark red blood/clots this morning (but just a little bit each time I urinate). I guess I'll just hope that this spotting/light flow stops and we get a BFP in another week...
I did just order some Vitex - so we'll see once it gets here if I know if I'm pg or not!
Anyone have any idea on how to make my charts show? I got the link through fertilityfriend about my chart! If I get a chance I'll mess with it more.
starrlight - YAY for AF!! :) (Never really thought I'd say that!!)
I know there was at least 1 mama who joined the group last month and got pregnant with her first PPAF. Hopefully you're in the same boat as her!

Moonstones - Before DS was born and before I had all the troubles with infertility, I usually Oed on day 14 with a perfect 28 day cycle. Oddly, I Oed on day 12 the cycle we conceived. I think ovulating will not be my problem, but rather the luteal phase. Guess we'll find out soon enough! BTW, what does B-6 do for your cycle? I remember taking it last time we TTC, but for the life of me I can't remember why! Ha!
AFM - While I was waiting all these months for my PPAF, I read some stuff about tampons that made me want to ditch them and try the Diva Cup. Does anyone else use this? I got one yesterday and I'm having a hard time with it. Does it just take a while to get the hang of it? I seem to be getting it in wrong, and then it hurts a fair bit to get it back out. Any advice? Thanks.

kelantan Those costumes are so cute! Congratulations on the win!
moonstones I hope all those signs point to O coming soon!
Wendy I hope AF stays away for you! That spotting sounds confusing!
Carlin I hope your chart stays pretty and your temps stay high.
Ava's I tend to thibk the TWW is a little earlyto notice any symptoms. Just my opinion. I hope to hear good news soon!
Batia I really don't know anything about Vitex, but letting go and letting Father be in control is really the bst and only thing we can do. I'm so sorry this cycle is so confusing for you!
Ibreed The zoo and pumpkins sound like a lot of fun!
starrlight Yay for AF! Maybe you'll be able to catch an egg soon!
fazer Glad it lookslike you O this time.
Nothing exciting here...waiting a long wait until O...

starrlight - I keep wanting to get one of the menstrual cups, but I haven't made the jump yet. Did you go the website www.menstrualcups.org? There are a lot of reviews and instructions and stuff! My midwife is a big fan of the 'keeper cup' because she said they're not as stiff and big, but work as well. When I finally make the purchase, that's the one I'll start with!
fazer - So I saw your chart! You spotted for 4 days? That makes me feel a bit better? I've only had a pantyliner on for the past 2 days (all day) and it's definitely more than enough. Hopefully it's not AF! I've only ever been pg one time in my life, and last time I didn't see a drop of blood until my mucous plug came out! Thanks for the help and I'm going to work on getting my chart to show up.
**Updated - I can now see my chart online! http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/37fdd4 ** Thanks again for everyone's opinion. As with everything, waiting it out is the only option!

WendyJo - Well, it figures I would pay $40 for the wrong cup. I never seem to do enough research when it comes to things like that. Hope I can get the hang of it soon.
Starrlight, I've been using the keeper since about 2008 and I quite liked it, but since my cycles came back postpartum I seem to be developing a latex allergy or something and it makes me excrutiatingly itchy. (Way TMI, I know) Other than that it worked well for me, but if you are at all latex sensitive the Diva cup is probably the way to go anyways. There's definitely a learning curve, no matter which one you try, so stick with it for a couple cycles and you'll probably learn to like it. (Although here's hoping you don't get a chance to practice too much before getting a BFP!) I did find it fairly uncomfortable to insert and remove at first but as I got better at it, it stopped being painful.
Wendy, I'd love to see your chart! On FF click on "Sharing" then click on "Set Up" You'll see a link that says "Your Charting Home Page Web Address." Copy it, come back here, click on the little world with the link sign and paste it in to the box. That's all there is to it!
Fazer, yay for Oing. Those super long cycles are so frustrating! Sending girl vibes your way! Our girl was conceived by BD on O day, so it's not impossible!
AFM, 9 dpo. I usually see a temp drop around 13 or 14 dpo so if it stays high for 5 more days I might start getting excited. Until than I'm really trying to just go with the flow. I've really been focusing on eating well and getting in shape this month (down 9 lbs so far!) and it's helped my stress level to have an alternative focus. I don't think I'll be as disappointed this month if I'm not pregnant because it'll mean one more month to get back in shape before dealing with another pregnancy, not that I don't want to be pregnant but at least I can see a silver lining if I'm not.
Sorry for the convulted grammar! I can usually right a clear sentence but apparently not today!
The other thing I'm considering is completely weaning my DD.
She's down to pretty much nursing only at night and before nap time, but it's driving me nuts. She's suddenly marathon nursing, plus popping on and off, and doing things like poking me, licking me, scratching me, until I just want to scream. I'd been planning to wait until she was at least 2 1/2 but the way things are going right now, nursing has become a cause of resentment and frustration for me, rather than a chance to reconnect. I know nightweaning is going to be loud and messy, but any attempt to put limits on it seems to cause just as much aggravation so I sort of feel like we are just stretching out the inevitable.

Starlight -- I used to use the insteadcup when we were TTC DD. I actually used it after we BD'ed to try to keep the little guys close to my cervix. It never helped for me, but other women have reported that it has helped them! But, I never found it uncomfortable, once it was inserted properly I couldn't even feel it. B-6 is actually supposed to lengthen LP's. It might be worth trying again to see if it might help lengthen yours? I just started this month, so if we aren't pregnant this month, I'll report back.
Carlin -- good for you for shifting your focus on taking good care of myself. Eating right is so much more difficult with kids, I'm finding -- and I crave sugar so much when I BF for whatever reason!
Fazer -- we conceived our DD on the day of O too. FX'ed for you :)
Texasfarmom -- I'm happy to take over for November, but you'll have to give me a tutorial because it's new to me. Unless there are others who are more experienced -- feel free to step up!
AFM -- still EWCM and no +OPK, not even close. I'm getting anxious that my DH is going to be out of town when I actually do O! Ahhh well, such is life!
I caved this morning and pee'd on the only sticks I had in the house, OPKs. Got quite dark lines on them so decided to pick up a HPT when I was in town.
!!!! I am so thrilled and so shocked. Really hope this one is sticky, I'm a bit scared after what happened last month, but the line on the test is super dark so I hope that is a good sign
Yay Niniel! ![]()

Congratulations! I think the super dark line is a good sign! Sending you sticky bean vibes and wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months!
