Pink Mucous! How cool! I've been having daily bloody mucous too.... But unfortunately, it is 100% from my nose. I have a &$&*#*@$&*&$ cold right now, so my nose has been bleeding like crazy, every day this week. Boo.
So glad to hear about breastfeeding improvement, Pi & Starling, and also Karli (because if YOU are doing better, then that is very good for Corbin too!).
I was a grouchy grouch yesterday too. Plus just so achy. DH is pampering the crap out of me, which makes feeling yucky so much better. I started crying last night though about being sick... I want to be ENJOYING my last week of pregnancy! I kept telling DH that this week is supposed to be really FUN! I'm 39w3 days, and I decided that I don't want to go into labor until I'm feeling back to 100% and have had a few days of feeling really good. I'll let you know how that works out!
My mom is starting chemo today. This has been so extremely stressful for the past 6 weeks, but part of me feels a bit of relief to be at the next stage of her fighting cancer, though it breaks my heart to know that now she's going to start "being sick" from the treatment. I posted this in another thread, but there is some indication about the benefits of breastmilk during chemo. Breastmilk itself has cancer-fighting properties, and of course, all the immune system benefits etc. Anyway, once baby is born and I've got supply, I'm planning on giving her extra milk. And she is the owner of an early childhood education center in Colorado, so in the meantime, she also has access to extra breastmilk from a few different parents (she has just been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from all around). She has a very aggressive form of breast cancer (also, it is triple negative, if any of you are familiar, which is a more rare kind of cancer, and doesn't have a hormonal therapeutic target, so it means she has to get a more general form of chemo), so anything we can possibly to do increase her odds, we want to do. After the baby is born, we're planning on going out to CO for maybe a month or so as well.
Anyway, can't wait to see who of you ladies is next to meet your little baby!
