cbaa last night was no rise dinner rolls and apple crisp YUM and this morning it is banana bread. This cool weather keeps me in the kitchen.  So glad that you're feeling better.  Vegas is going to be an amazing trip!  Are you guys going to see any shows while you're there? Also, would you mind packing me in your suitcase?  A trip to vegas would make my 2WW fly by! loveeyes.gif  BTW those blueberry scones sound delish!

A2E I'd love to hear more about 'putting by for winter' too!

gozal I have a brown butter brownie recipe that is out of this world.  i'll dig it out and send it to you.  its is really easy and super delicious.  I've been searching for that perfect brownie too - i'm beginning to think that it doesn't exist outside the betty crocker box! sorry about the crazies.  how many more days do you have to be on it?

AFM cd10 and feeling really really good about things.  dh and i decided to DTD every other day right up through O - something we've never done before so i'm all  om.gif and fingersx.gif

A2E, talk to me about putting by for winter? I really need to get into that. My first attempt at gardening this year was a major flop, though I learned a ton and had lots of fun doing it. Hey, I owe you guys a favorite recipe, don't I? Hmmm. Also, special bonus question for the bakers: Do you have a favorite brownie recipe? Brownies are my favorite dessert by a huge margin and though I have test-baked at least 20 different recipes, none were perfect and most weren't even great. My next test recipe is Mark Bittman's. But if you have a favorite...do tell!

AFM, 8dpo and the progesterone supplements I'm on are making me crazy. Crazier than they ever have before, ugh.

Oh goodness, I wouldn't even know where to start, gardening/canning is one of my favorite subjects,lol... but we have a small garden at our townhome and a larger one at my sister's house (plus we get fruit from her trees) where she has 2 acres. We grow about 6 different heirloom tomatoes (the type changes every year and we had a TERRIBLE year for tomatoes this year), jalapenos, habeneros, Italian Fryers, Garlic, Sweet corn, lettuce, carrots, potatoes, onions, squash, pumpkins and zuchinni.

We can tomato sauce, salsa, ketchup and stewed tomatoes. (We are huge lovers of all things tomato in this house so that's our biggest crop) Jalapenos (which I definitely suggest growing, they are SUPER easy!), Garlic (also SUPER easy to grow... I planted mine 3 weeks ago and they grow throughout the fall then go dormant in the winter and start growing again early in the spring and are ready by late spring... I literally do nothing with it other than plant it in the fall and it just takes off), Corn and Corn relish (my favorite condiment). We have a huge canning system and most of the time my whole family gets together to do "canning sessions" since we all share my sister's garden and root cellar, it's just easiest to do it all together and it's a blast! We usually have about 6 canning systems going on at once!

We freeze a lot of the squash, pumpkin and zuchinni that isn't used for canned things, like pumpkin butter, apple butter, jellies, etc. We have a large deep freezer, a root cellar (at my sister's that we share with her) and a huge storage area that we use for our canned things. Once I get my canning done, I'll have to take a picture of my storage room. It's so awesome to have all those goodies in there knowing I made them and it's all natural, yummy ingredients!

See, I told you.. I can talk about this topic forever if prompted. This is why I love fall so much... I rarely have time to think about anything other than "putting by"... including TTC! :P

As for brownies, I personally love a nice, simple recipe... and you can't beat hillbillyhousewife.com for simple. I like her because most of her recipes, I usually have the stuff in the house but here's the recipe I use. We usually add peanut butter chips to them... just makes it yummier, IMO! smile.gif

Ohhh that sounds fantastic! I loveeeeee banana bread! I seriously could live off of it and be completely happy, lol.

Do share this no-rise dinner roll recipe! I love rolls but they're such a pain that I never make them. I am intrigued.

Mmmm, your posts are making me so hungry!  Attached2Elijah- wow, sounds like you have it made with all that land with your sister and storage areas!  I am trying to become better about growing my own vegetables and cook as naturally as possible.  I'm going to check out that hillbillyhousewife website.  Do you know any other good recipe sites?

cbaa-  Like the others, I am really hoping for a little Vegas baby for you!  I hope that spotting stays away and you have a great cycle!

KnittinKitten-  So sorry about AF.  hug2.gif Sending some hugs your way.

Reelala-  Sounds like you are cooking/baking up a storm too!  Please send some of that love for cooking my way.... I struggle with that.  Yay that you and DH will be DTD everyday through O!  We have decided to do that too!

Faerieliss & AndtheStars-  I hope those little beans are nice and cozy and that you are both doing well!

gozal-  Sorry you are having crazy symptoms.  Let's hope this cycle it's all worth it because of a little bean trying to settle in right about now!

AFM-  I will probably O tomorrow (on CD 14), though I haven't had as much EWCM as usual, and I'm not temping this cycle, but I've ALWAYS O'd between CD 13-15.  We BDed last night and plan to do it tonight and tomorrow night too.  I want to somehow BD on Tuesday too, which would be CD 15, but not sure how it will work with DH's work schedule that day.  So I'm just hoping that O happens either today or tomorrow!  I hope the EWCM picks up, or else I think I might order some preseed for next cycle.  On another note, I've broken out in rashes on my legs and rear and I think it's from eating walnuts (can't think of anything else it could be caused from).  I was eating a lot of walnuts everyday to get more Omega 3's in, and now I'm thinking I'm allergic!  Yikes!

Reelala: I love hot yoga, too! I feel so amazing when I'm done. Good luck with your BD marathon!

Cbaa: I hope you have a lot of fun, BDing and otherwise, in Vegas!

Gozal: my favorite brownie recipe is mine that I developed. It's right in between fudgy and cakey. You cannot be afraid of fat. Let me know if you want it. Sorry you're feeling crazy. That can totally suck.

Mamaforever: Thanks for the hugs! That's kind freaky about the rash. I hope it clears up soon.

AFM I'm not sure what to do this cycle. Maybe really bd everyday like I planned to last cycle. I'm kinda stumped. I know that not temping was helpful for my sanity. Any ideas?
