CNM practices in Milwaukee?

Thread Starter

Trying an internet search and not coming up with much.

Do any of you have links to the CNM practice websites in Milwaukee?

I know there are quite a few CNM groups that attend births at various hospitals in the area - but can't find their practice websites.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction? And which CNM practice(s) deliver at Columbia-St Mary's?

Thanks!

Hi! Here is a link to the Wisconsin Guild of Midwives for a long list of CNM's and CPM's: http://www.wisconsinguildofmidwives.org/find.html

I had a successful homebirth in November 2011 under the care of LaNette McQuitty, owner of the Baby's Birth Benefits, LLC practice (shown on the list). She lives in New Berlin and services the SE Wisconsin area. I highly recommend her! We LOVED her, had the most amazing care, and will likely go to her again in the future. We couldn't have been happier.

Also check out the resources section of the Well-Rounded Maternity Center website: http://www.well-roundedmaternity.com/  My midwife was part of the C.A.R.E. network of midwives in the metro Milwaukee area: http://carenetworkwisconsin.org/

I hope this helps! I wish I had seen your post earlier. Hopefully you already found a great midwife!
