Pregnancy possible after Tubal Ligation?

Thread Starter
I had a tubal done 3 years ago when my son was born. I desperately want another baby. I know there is "a chance" of getting pregnant with a tubal ligation but those are just numbers...you know? My husband and I both want another one so we are praying and trying despite the odds. Are we completely crazy? Anyone here who has beat those odds?
-Also, I have had a period 2 - 3 days out of EVERY week since I had the tubal (post tubal ligation syndrome) My last AF started 9/14 and I haven't had one since!!!  I have been nauseous on and off for the past week, sore bbs, and very tired.  Do you think? Maybe? that I could be? smile.gif

Welcome to MDC Alisha!  wave.gif  I know there is at least one person that frequents these boards that has successfully gotten pg after a tubal reversal, so I'm sure there are more.  Hopefully some of them will see this and give you some further support.

My advice (if you aren't already pg) is to start charting your basal body temperature and cervical fluid.  This will tell you when you are fertile, if/when you ovulated, how long your luteal phase is (the time between O and AF), when to test, when to expect AF, if you're pregnant, and if there is anything else to be concerned about with your cycle.  Knowing if you are ovulating and if you are ovulating from both ovaries is extremely valuable information!  This will allow you to relax about testing and wondering what if during the cycles that you don't end up ovulating (if that is the case).  It could also give you an idea if some supplements would be in order to help with your cervical fluid or luteal phase.

If charting interests you, just post for some more information!  Good luck!
