return of AF?

I've been feeling really nauseous, dizzy and have had slight headaches off and on every day now for about 2 weeks. I don't really have any breast tenderness that I've noticed but I have felt crampy here and there. Generally I just feel weird, but (back before I was pregnant) I never felt nauseous when I was about to get my period, and that's my main symptom. Sometimes I really feel like puking and need to lay my head down.

Throughout my BFing experience, I would feel really nauseous if I didn't eat enough, but now even after I eat I feel sick. I'm pumping at work 2-4x a day now and when I'm home my DS nurses every 2 hours on average (and nurses 2-4 times a night). I took a PG test last week to see what was going on, and it was negative. I haven't had a postpartum period yet, so DH and I have not been super careful because of that.

Does the return of AF feel like this, and if so, how long could this go on for before it comes?

I was very nauseous prior to my first pp AF at 14.5 months. I even started dry heaving in the car one day. I think within 2 weeks I got my period.

Thanks for your reply. I'm having a hard time with this because for the last week especially I've been nauseous sometimes for several hours straight. I don't think I've ever had nausea during PMS. I don't even think I had this much nausea when I was pregnant with DS. So if it is AF's return she better hurry up because I can't even do my work. It's been over 2 weeks of this and nothing yet...that is why I was starting to worry about pregnancy.
