We have our girl's name all picked out - we had it picked out with DS and it hasn't changed. But we're kinda stuck on boy names. In part I think because we're so convinced this is a girl, we're not feeling any rush to come up with something. But then it took us until month 8 to pick out DS' name, we're just rubbish with boy names. I like older or more uniqueish names, names that aren't on the top 100, especially if they'd be a high scoring Scrabble word (using Q, V, X, Z, etc.). But they also have to be spellable/pronouncable in both Russian and Spanish, which means no TH, hard J (soft G), H or W sounds. And nothing that immediately brings to mind biblical or religious meanings.
DH likes more old country names, but won't do anything too "outlandish" - like he won't touch anything Welsh (which I think could be fun).
The short list we've managed to agree on so far includes:
But I'm not really feeling the love on them.
But then, it took me months to convince DH of DS' middle name. Who knowns, maybe we should just wait until the baby is here and if it's a boy go over the short list then.
