with dd1 I went from a 34 to a 40 (!!) during pregnancy - eventually I went back down to a 36 post partum (by the time I got pregnant again).  I didn't expand this time very much - now I wear between 36-38 though my cup size went up a lot.  Of course it all depends on what bras you buy - I seem to very a lot between brands on both cup and band.

I so want to join this thread, but I don't have a scale. So I won't know what my weight is until my 6 week check up! Hopefully it will be a pleasant surprise.

I just wanted to say one thing... I struggled with body image until the last few weeks of pregnancy, then I made peace with it and truly saw the beauty in my huge belly. I was mentally prepared to hate my jiggly belly after baby was born, and even told my DH I'd probably get depressed about it, but that hasn't happened. After I gave birth to my beautiful daughter, and saw the truly amazing work my body can do, I see it very differently. I don't think I'll ever hate it again. My body grew that gorgeous, perfect baby and birthed it without any help... wow! My body rocks!

About bras...yeah I totally bought a 36 C right after N was born (I was a 36 B before she was born) and it was WAY to small...I could snap it but it HURT! I'm ok with 38 C (5 weeks postpartum)...I was so upset though - I had no idea that part of me was bigger too..then I had to go return the bras for a bigger size....oh so embaressing lol (though fittingly I did it the day of the National Target Nurse In and I nursed her while there without even knowing what was going on until I logged into FB while nursing and a friend of mine had posted about it LOL)

I weighed myself at 178 today! WOOHOO!!! About 23 pounds to go...I can't wait to start taking Les Mills Body Pump/Combat (not sure which one I will do) when I get back to work...maybe cycling too...I lost a ton of weight doing that before my wedding ;-)

Maybe I'm not a lost cause...though I am freaking starving (I think that's the dom) and trying to think of something HEALTHY to eat...when all I want is butter popcorn. LOL

You will totally shrink! You still have 7.5 months to get back down, at least! ;) 9 months on, 9 months off is my motto. With our first, I was skinnier than before I got pregnant with her by the time she was 5 months. And with every other baby, I was down to prepreg. weight by the time they were 12 months. Keep your clothes!

I went from a 32 to a 38 and the 38 stopped fitting so I was going bra-less.  The 38 fits on the smallest setting now so I've shrunk a decent amount over 3 weeks.  I hope I shrink a little more or else I will never find a bra after my boobs shrink back down.  I'll try a 34 and report back.

I only gained 25 lbs so I'm pretty much back to normal with a little bit of saggy belly.  I'm surprised my hips and ribs recovered so quickly.  I tried on a *big* pair of jeans towards the end of pregnancy b/c I was curious.  Not even close to fitting over my hips.  Now my regular size fit.

Just saying...I don't want my boobies to shrink!!! JUST the strap size!!!!

lol true true. I was a heavily padded 32b prior to pregnancy. I bought 36c bras that fit for the pregnancy, and the nursing one I bought is a 38C and is on the loosest hook and snug in the cups. I'd love to settle in as a 34C...

If only we could pick. lol

Me too, I'm really hoping mine shrink back. I loved my little breasts that required no support, no bras, no extra attention, but looked cute just as they were. These big mamas are far too much trouble (especially when you take the dripping milky nipples into account).

I went from 34a to 38c also, but I'm relieved to see you experienced mamas say my bones should go back to normal-ish eventually....but I'm rather bemoaning what to wear until then! After all the ugly pregnancy clothes, I'm so ready to wear cute, structured things again and quit feeling like a squishy blob in stretchy pants and shirts. Come back to me, pretty dresses!

Typically breasts shrink back...and usually end up a little smaller after breastfeeding (although I have been breastfeeding and/or pregnant for 4.5 yrs - so I don't know from personal experience yet).  I have always fit back into my clothes (actually end up smaller each time - must loose muscle and a little bone mass each time LOL).  There is hope Azadehhast!  But I hear you about the in-between wardrobe...most of my maternity is too big/frumpy, but my favorite pair of jeans that have always been my go-to early preg/pp totally saw the grave this year.  So all I have are capris and gaucho style bottoms or skinny jeans (the jeans won't fit for at least 6 more months).  I guess I'll be wearing the couple long skirts I have until it warms up :)

I didn't manage to get a 3 weeks photo, but here is my 2 weeks post-partum belly shot (excuse the dumb facial expression):

I'm feeling pretty pleased that that giant belly shrunk so quickly!

After my first DS 5 years ago, all of my tops/shirts were too small. I went from 34A pre-pg to 38B preg to 36B postpartum. So I thought my tops would never fit again and donated them all, I then bought a bunch of large tops. Big mistake! By 6-12 mos postpartum all of the larges were way too big. Had to get rid of those and buy mediums again. won't do that again.

This pregnancy I continued to wear my 36A (though snug) and now my nursing bras are 36B, same as last time.

I gained 15# with DS1 and maybe 20# this time with DS2. I also had severe nausea/vomiting (hyperemesis) and was on zofran until delivery!!

My wt is still 148# @ 3 weeks postpartum, which is the same as 2 weeks. Why am I surprised? haven't been exercising and have been eating whatever. Still expected to go down a little though,

pre-preg - 155#

delivery 175#

goal 142#

i'm 5'9".

Two Weeks, Four Days Post-Partum:

IMAG0030.jpgIMAG0031.jpgIMAG0038.jpg

IMAG0040.jpg

I weighed in at 200lb at my final prenatal visit.  I have no idea what my post-partum weight is, as I don't own scales.  Or they're in a box somewhere ...  My ideal weight is between 130 - 140lb. when I'm fit and lean, around size 6/8 Misses or 9 Juniors. (Pre-children I was a Juniors 5 weighing 135lb)   Without good muscle tone, it's 125-130.  I'm about 5'6"/5'7" I'll have my work cut out for me.  I think I'm in a size 14/16 right now but I'm not sure because I'm still wearing maternity pants and PJs for comfort, and I'm hoping to be in a size 10/12 by July.  I have no idea what that will translate into weight-wise, but I'm much more concerned with size than weight.  I tend to gain a lot of muscle in my butt and thighs when I'm fit and it weighs a lot.

No real weight change for me - I've started tracking food on myfitnesspal.com though and I I really have trouble eating under the recommended calories for weight loss.  I'm not too concerned though - I know that part of the problem is that I am always home and usually bored so it is easy to eat.  That will change in March when I am back at work.

I am on week 5 of C25K and that feels great.  Also doing light weights 2 times a week and some mild abs.  When I can get to yoga I go but childcare is a challenge.

After DS2 and I lost a lot of weight when he was around 16m old, my breasts went from a C/D to a A / barely-B. They still looked great though :) Now I'm back to a C/D.

I did the same after my first... and all my size 1-3 jeans. Then I got really skinny again and had nothing to wear until I had money to replace all the clothes I donated! Now, I have pants and shirts in all sizes from 0-7, Sm-Med

I DO want my boobies to shrink. I was a 36DD before I got preggos the first time. I am outgrowing my 38H's right now and don't want to buy new ones, they are still in good shape. Mine have never shrunk back down to a 36DD, but I've also not been down to 150 lbs. Before I got preg this time I was down to a 36DDD, and 170lbs,
