I'm watching my calories on myfitnesspal (thanks Amanda for the rec) and I'm running 3x a week and doing 30 day shred 3x a week.  I go back to work in 3 weeks so it is going to be a lot harder to work out then.

My babies will be 3 months in 3 days!  wow.

dsb! I am such a slacker with calories right now. Hubby leaves for four months in April and I plan to really get serious then. He wants to make eggs, prepare dinners for our family, etc. and I need to let him do that for us without telling him to please measure my butter, weigh my piece of bread, etc. ;) I also plan to do the Shred and use the treadmill once he's gone. I feel like I have a lot more time to focus on me and what I need to get done when he's away. ;) Just the way it is.... I will back back to mfp soon. I'm so glad it's working well for you! What will your work schedule be once you go back?

Az, more will come off. Much, much more! It took MONTHS to grow your little babe, it will take months to drop the extra weight, but it will go!

You will be my inspiration dsb!!  That's awesome!

My goal was to start running this week, but I decided to wait until after my ob appointment which is Thursday.  I just have some lingering weirdness down below that makes me nervous.  I also didn't realize that I should wait to jog with O until he's 6 months so it's going to take a little more coordination between DH and I.  :(  Unless I join the Y and run on a treadmill... IDK, we're so broke with me not working...

Anyway, my new goal is to work some yoga into my day.  My usual routine has a lot of lunges, but I should be ok with those at this point, right?

Wow dsb, that was fast!!  I'm far from my pre-pregnancy weight, but I'm losing a pound per week, so I shouldn't complain.  I honestly am not finding the time to exercise.....I don't know how you ladies do it.  When my ds1 gets his new bike for his birthday this weekend, I plan on doing 45 minute walks in the late afternoon with the two of them.

whoo hoo first day of exercise.  i ran 15 min on the eliptical on level 5 and 13 for .9 miles whoo hooo

I'm with ya on that, Wendi. I'm hovering at about +10lbs and absolutely do not have time to exercise, even if Eli was interested in being put down that long! XD

I would crazy if I didn't get out to exercise.  I feel like I have babies permanently attached to my boobs.

I waited until my postpartum appt before I started exercising and I was surprised that they really didn't really check anything before saying "yeah sure you can exercise" they did tell me to hold off on ab exercises but didn't really tell me what to look for etc.  I just started slowly and listened to my body tell me if I had pushed to hard.

I think yoga is a great place to start and I don't think lunges would be a problem.

I'm also happy that I don't have any issue with bladder control this time around (I guess because of the c/s) I had to remember to completely empty my bladder before running or jumping rope when I was over a year pp with dd1 (it got better though)

Amanda - I am calorie counting and it helps a lot over all but I feel a little guilty about it - everyone else's diary has like "nonfat cottage cheese" and "1/2 an egg white" and mine is 5 cups of coffee, 3 cookies, toast with butter and jam...  I was never very good at "dieting".  So glad that breastfeeding burns so many calories :)

I start work the last weekend of Feb and I'm sorta looking forward to being back to the "adult" world.  I do shift work so I know that finding time to exercise is going to be 100x harder especially with childcare to organize.

I've been doing great until I made brownies for DS1 to take to preschool today and of course made 1 pan for us and ate 2 plus made a chocolate milk shake and ate that....oops....

I gained a couple pounds I think :-/ I was 185 yesterday...still 2lbs below what I think my pre-pregnancy was, but, far from where I would like to be.

11 weeks pp...down 38 with 8 to go.  I knew my scale was stuck last week.  My wedding ring still doesn't fit....has this happened to anyone else?

I haven't even tried mine yet....

mine still doesn't fit :(

My ring never stopped fitting.  My hands didn't really retain any water for some reason.

I ran today!!  10 minutes out of a 30 minute run/walk.  It wasn't too bad.

I'm sure that my water retention is gone, I'm afraid it might have to be resized :( Butttttt my Enell sports bra still fits, that's my good news for the week!  I might have to go up another half size in running shoes tho, lol, my feet have grown every time I've been pregnant

I got my wedding set on and can't get it off now -___- ooops.

I'm not dieting but I keep seeing wedding ring talk & have to say... I got engaged and married while pregnant and my ring fit the whole time... but now it's slightly big. OOPS! It stays on okay as long as my hands aren't wet... and I wouldn't want to get too close to the vacuum with it.

My ring got snug at the end of this pregnancy.  I never took it off though.  It now actually feels loose sometimes...

I felt really happy about my body and midsection immediately after birth and the first 6 weeks or so, but this last week I swear that my belly feels fatter!!!  The rest of my body is probably just more pre pg size and my belly isn't yet (making it feel larger)??? I don't know, but it's bothering me.  Guess I should start exercising more formally if I expect to regain a 26 inch waist again...

i got it off yesterday, it was starting to feel *too* tight

mammamo - I can relate with the shoe issue.  My feet seem to grow about a half size each pg too :(   I'm up to a 9.5 now!
