149.8# this morning. My "skinny jeans" fit but are a little snug. They haven't fit in years!

Goal 142#. Would like to lose 1# per week.

Just ate the last 2 girl scout cookies! Gotta start eating healthier.

14 weeks pp and I'm down 40 pounds with six to go. I have a feeling this crazy muffin top I'm sporting isn't going to be gone even when these six pounds are. I want to start working out but I don't want ds2 cared for at the gym yet and ds works 60 or so hours a week which doesn't leave a lot of free time.

down another 3.4 lbs this week :)

4mo1wk postpartum and I am 5lb below my prepreg weight.  I don't think the scale has been this number for 5+ years.  I really need to get more exercise though - I haven't worked out in over a week (it is so hard now that I am back at work) and I am eating horribly.  Today someone asked if I was pregnant :(  so I clearly need to get more exercise (or buy some new shapewear)

My husband just got the p90x dvds so I think I will see if I can do them ...

I feel the same lol...I'm 7lbs below but I am still WAY above where I want to be! Thankfully I have to work out as part of my job a few days a week or I would never work out at all! When I get off work all I want is chocolate, chips, and vanilla milk...lol

I was down .6 lbs this week, I'm happy with that, considering the insane amount of food I ate this week, I only ran once, and I weighed in a day early.

Down two more pounds this week. 6 pounds above prepregnancy weight. I am so happy! I wasn't even pregnant yet a year ago. ;)

Pre-preg:    138 lbs

At delivery  177 lbs

12/7 4wkpp 145 lbs 35" at waist

12/14 5wkpp 143

12/21 6wkpp 142 33.5"

4/15 5mo pp 130 31.5"

I wish I could choose where the weight came off of.  I still have a sizable belly :(

The weight loss has slowed down since I went back to work.  I don't have as much time to exercise and when I arrange childcare it is usually so I can go to work (I'm really missing going to the gym right now)

Tracking food really helps though.  I notice that I usually lose 1-2 lbs on weeks I track and I don't lose on weeks I don't track.  I'm not really eating any better - I think I must just eat less on days I track.  That reminds me - I think I am going to go put some nutella on a graham cracker.  Since I am tracking this week I better only eat one.

I love your sense of humor. Maybe lifting heavy weights to help with the belly? I've started that this week. I'll let you know if I notice any improvements. :)

DSB - have you been checked for diastasis recti (separation of abdominal muscles)? That would definitely affect your waist/belly size. I have it and am doing specific exercises to correct it. Some exercises (like crunches) will make it worse not better.

I agree with the advice above!

Thanks for all the suggestions.  Nope, I've checked for diastasis recti and my muscles appear to together.  I think the problem lies in my unreasonable expectation of what my belly should look like at this weight.

I haven't weighed myself since my last post here.  :( My hips still feel more like haunches and my belly is droopy and more rounded than it was a few months back.   I'm getting ready to kick it into high gear, though!  School is almost out and I've got a new Bobo carrier on the way -- it'll be great for hiking!  I've got a road trip at the end of July and I want to at least be back into normal pants -- whatever the size.  (I'm still wearing maternity pants.  Regular skirts, though ...)

A sinus infection has taken over my last couple of days, but tomorrow morning and Friday I am going to the gym at 5:30, before the kiddlings wake.  It worked out great when I did that a couple of weeks ago ...
