Weight-Loss Thread! - Page 3

My update:

163-165 prepregnancy, would like to be 160 at about 9 months PP, in September of next year.

I was 208lbs. on 12/5.

Had 6lb. 12oz. baby on 12/6.

Was 194.4 on 12/9.

188.8 today on 12/14.

I am thrilled with this number. I was 183 when my last baby was 5 months old. Then I started counting calories and exercising. I'm excited to start that MUCH sooner this time around!

dsb, I thought I posted a reply to your post yesterday... I cannot believe you only have 5 pounds to go! AMAZING work, mama! I bet your body is craving the caffeine in the H candy. ;)

Apparently being mindful of what I eat simply means being aware that I just ate all of the left over halloween candy.

Got the okay to start exercising on Mon - just no major ab workout for at least another 2 months.  Went to yoga yesterday.  Felt good to move again, just a little pulling/tugging (at an internal incision site?)  I feel a little sore today but that could be from not getting more than 2hrs sleep in a row for a while now.  I need to find some exercise classes that I can bring babies.

I haven't weighed myself yet, I will probably do so tomorrow. I did look at my feet/ankles last night and think to myself "OMG - MY LEGS ARE SICK!!!" Then I realized that actually I had just lost a lot of water and finally had ankles again - I had forgotten what they looked like. LOL.

GO MAMAS!!!!

I will post my plan and goals etc. once I weigh myself :-)

Pre-pregnancy: 140 lbs
40 Weeks: 172 lbs
Baby was: 6 lbs 15.5Oz
9 days PP: 158 lbs
Goal: 130 lbs by 1 year

I tend to have trouble remembering to eat ENOUGH and since i'm having supply issues ATM, i'm not restricting my diet in any way.generally just try not to eat garbage, which I can struggle with as i'm pretty frequently on the go/out of the house for long periods of time.

For now i'm just focusing on feeding myself and Eli. =P

I expect I'll start some sort of exercise program either in February, if things are going well, or in April when school is out (if we're having trouble juggling).

But wanted to post my stats for comparison. =) i'm 5'5" and was pretty soft, pre-pregnancy.but that is a comfortable and easily-obtained weight for my body.

Ok, so I'm 6 days postpartum and as of the middle of last night when I weighed myself (random I know lol) I weighed 196, down 27lbs from the 223 that I weighed the day before DD was born. I *think* I was 180 something before this pregnancy but I cant remember haha...I know I was between 150-160 before and after DS1, so that is goal #1 for me...then depending on clothing size BMI etc. I will decide how much further to go.  I haven't started anything yet, but, hoping to hit the gym soon...unfortunately with everyone else and their new year resolutions LOL

lol! That would be me except baby and I are dealing with thrush and it is so painful that I'm actually limiting sugar.

3 weeks pp and down 26 lbs.  20 more to go.  Not happy with how loose my belly skin amd muscles are this time. I'm still in maternity pants and with the last baby I was wearing my regular jeans already.

I'm back to my pre-preg weight (I didn't gain much during pregnancy). Stomach is wayyyy flabby tho.

OK.. here goes.

Pre-preg: 95 lbs

40 weeks: 125 lbs

7 days PP:

Goal: Swimsuit ready by summertime

I started out really small, gained 30lbs with this pregnancy. I would be happy in any weight range between 95-105, it's mostly getting rid of my belly flab that I am worried about. I know it's possible, I had a rockin' body right before I got pregnant with #3. :)

SierraBella, I'm glad I don't live near you. The temptation to murder might be too strong. irked.gif You weighed 125 at 40 weeks!? I can't wait to have my baby and join this thread... I've already gained nearly 50 lbs. Ugh.

(You know I'm kidding about murdering you, right? Seriously, you rock! 95 lb. after 3 kids. Good job. You give me hope. thumb.gif)

I was a little worried about even posting on here! But It's not really the weight I am concerned about it's the tone. I never thought I would get my body back after #2, but I did :)

In all fairness, how tall are you SierraBella?  :)

That's what I thought :)  Just want everyone else to realize that too.  LOL.  95 lbs would be scary on my 5' 7" frame!

I lost more and my face isn't puffy anymore haha! I'm 2lbs away from waht I *think* my pre-pregnancy weight was...30-35 from where I was before each of the boys pregnancies; which is where I'd like to be by summer time hopefully. I know its going to slow down soon though...I was hoping to be able to get to the gym by 2-3 weeks postpartum for some really light axercise but I'm not sure I'll be quite ready for that. Cycling bikes will be at my job by the time I get back though which is awesome...I plan to take those and then some Les Mills fitness classes also...I do so much better in a group.. I'm just feeling so happy though, I was really worried about not being able to lose the weight, and it really seems like I will be able to which is a relief..I love my babies  but I am ready to be a hot soccer mom LOL..no really, I just want to be mostly toned and feel ok in a swimsuit or a little black dress...if I don't get quite as fit as I was pre kids I'll be ok with it..I don't think I have that kind of time (I used to spend several hours in the gym and several hours kayaking a few times per week and often biked a 30 mile round trip to and from work when I looked my best - which just doesn't fit my current lifestyle).

Here's the wierd thing...I look and weigh almost the same as pre-preg but my hips are WAY wider and I can just BARELY fasten my pants (so I'm not wearing them yet - I don't need the muffin top haha) I can't remember how long or if my hips will go back in...anyone??

I would love to be 160 at 9 months PP, September of next year.

I am big boned and that is a comfortable weight on my frame. ;)

208lbs. on 12/5.

6lb. 12oz. baby on 12/6.

194.4 on 12/9.

188.8 on 12/14.

I would love to continue with this 3 lb. loss per week. ;)

AND our baby gained 12 ounces this week, I am so thrilled!

It takes some time for your hips to go back to normal... mine are still wider, but they went back to pre-preg size for sure, after a little while.

Very impressed with everyone's numbers!

My legs look really skinny - I think I've lost a lot of muscle mass.  Belly still looks big despite being at the same weight I was 1 year pp with dd1.  Also now I can see the yucky wrinkly skin.  Hoping it will bounce back - heard it takes a few years and even then may be loose :(

Pre-preg:    138 lbs

At delivery  177 lbs

12/7 4wkpp 145 lbs 35" at waist

12/14 5wkpp 143

12/21 6wkpp 142 33.5"

Slow and steady I guess.

Had to slow down with the yoga - I get annoying pulling sensations on my right side near my incision site.  The outside incision looks fine but I can feel this weird ridge under the skin above the outside incision that is tender.  Plus I am just tired.  I will be happy once the holidays are over - dd1 is bugging me for cookies constantly, I haven't wrapped anything and we have no tree yet.

Audrey rolled over (front to back) last night - thought it was a fluke but she did it twice!  Way too early for such shenanigans.

As soon as I get it together (shower, out of pajamas, etc) I will try to do a belly photo.  Trying to control myself from eating all the xmas cookies.

here is a "belly picture" at a little more than 6 weeks post partum.  Still look a little pregnant.  The belly is firm too - are the muscles just all stretched to a weird shape?

6wk pp.JPG

Anyway - I predict I will gain 2 lbs this week (all I am consuming is cookies...  at least molasses has iron in it so that's good for me)

I started c25k today so I discovered how cardio deconditioned I have become the past 9 months :(

How long until I can start doing crunches?? My belly is shrinking rapidly but if I "suck it in" I'm really not too unhappy with my general size... Just want my abs to find their tone again! wink1.gif
