Moving to Tampa

Hi there,

I'm moving to Tampa by the end of the year.  My husband and I are PCS'ing to Macdill AFB (even though we're Army.)  I'd really like to find a group to hang out with there.  I'm also a little overwhelmed with finding preschools and doctors in the area that are not totally mainstream.  I'm actually considering homeschooling, but I'd like to find a homeschool group or co-op that isn't overly churchy.  I'd love to meet someone from the area when I get there!  Thanks a bunch!

Hi Sam!

Hope your move went well and you are finding community on base.  There's a Waldorf school over in Palm Harbor which my daughters attended, also you might want to check out Holistic Homeschooler Tampa Bay.

Funny you should say that!  We live in Westchase and my daughter's first day at the Waldorf school was this week!  Hopefully we'll see you there!  Raleigh is in Mrs. Rita's class.
