Looking for chicken pox in CA

I live near San Francisco and am willing to travel. Our family is in the Sacramento area, so that would be a doable trip as well. Hoping to give my children the lifelong immunity I was granted as a child but DS is 5 1/2 so I don't want to wait too much longer.

u want the chicken pox... we are in santa cruz..  (southbay) off hwy 1) . pox appeared today... it's been taking down my son's preschool class one by one.....

We are in San Diego, visiting from Tucson. Anyone here have chicken pox? (We leave Wed.) We'd love them and have numerous friends in Tucson who'd like to share.

 

Wish we could get to Santa Cruz.

Hi,

 

It's a bit late for your Chx Pox, but was wondering if you still know anyone who has it now  (1-7-12). I'm in Santa Cruz and would like my 9 year old twins to get it before it's too late.

We were exposed, but neither of my kiddos showed any symptoms, so we'd be interested in trying again. Don't actually know anyone with it though.

We have it here in Sonoma County. I must admit that it's not as fun as I had hoped. My son went through it very well but my daughter (age 11) has a really bad case of it, especially on her face. I can't decide whether to take her to the doctor or not. We are giving her lots of remedies, oatmeal baths and healing food for now. She's on day 4 right now with spots and they seem very contagious.

We are in the Sacramento area and we are looking for Chickenpox as well. Any updated info on an exposure willing to share would be very much appreciated.
