How to word baby announcements?

I know I am a bit late, but I am about to send out baby announcements. Our daughter was born in feb, came home in March, and was finalized late sept.

I want to put all the dates on the announcement, but I don't want it to sound too wordy. any suggestions on how to phrase them all?

We sent ours out after placement/before finalization (with our social workers blessing). We worded it by saying he was born on ____ and welcomed home on _____.

I did a photo card with three pictures of DS. One when I first met him, one when he was an older toddler, and one right before finalization.

I don't remember the wording on DS's exactly, but it was "The "X" Family Is Happy to Finally Announce the Adoption of ...." Below that had three rows of print. Something like "Into the world:July 2004."Into our home: November 2006. "A Family Forever: May 2008."

I didn't do one for DD last year. I feel badly about that (now that I'm realizing it.) She had been home for so long that it was really anticlimactic. She was already my daughter.

We did ours right after we brought him home from the hosptial.  It said, "With thankful hearts (inserted all of our names) announce the adoption of (his name, birth date, weight, and length along with two pictures of him).  That was back in April and we get to finalize early November-yeah!

Born May X

Home February X

Ours Forever on September X 

Born

Welcomed Home

Adopted

I ordered them for DD but never sent them all out, so only a few people got them.

Basically, it says announcing our precious daughter and her full new name

Then it said born, welcomed home and adopted

We adopted our DS as a newborn, and worded our birth announcement "From God's arms to ours" with a pic of DH holding DS on his arm.

Did all of the recipients know you were adopting? While that's a pretty saying, I wouldn't know that it meant the child was adopted.
