what is SA for whooping cough

I keep reading on here about using SA for whooping cough but I can't figure out what that is? I have googled it and can't find anything. I am debating on the DTaP for DD and really just don't feel "right" about giving it to her. My worry has always been her catching pertussis and if I know what to do and how to treat it I figure I will feel a little better about things. Please tell me what SA is and any links on how to treat pertussis with it, would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

I believe the are talking about Vitamin C.... Sodium Ascorbate powder looks like it might be a more bioavailable form of vitamin C.  here's a Wiki link
