Highest temp days post-ovulation and constipation? (prob TMI)

This cycle, I have found that my highest temp days post-ovulation have brought constipation/migraine (always related for me).  This started at cd7, which was actually a temp dip and then continued thru cd11 (cd8-11 highest temps).  My temp dropped yesterday on cd12 - and no constipation/migraine.  Today on cd13, my temp is high again but not quite as high as cd11 - and I have abundant BM but a migraine in aftn.

I've not had this with my previous ttc cycles, but this is my 1st cycle with fertility supps (wheatgrass, royal jelly, etc).

I think I'm out this cycle since I had a temp drop below coverline on cd12 plus a bfn on cd10.

Thanks so much!smile.gif

Hi Julie!  Doesn't look like you're out yet... high temp today and no sign of AF!  And it's not likely that you'd go from a 17 day LP to a 13 day LP anyway.  A BFN at 10 DPO doesn't mean much as 10 DPO is often too early to test.  Implantation occurs between 8 and 10 DPO 84% of the time and then takes a couple of days to build up enough hCG to test positive.  That's why you'll see more BFP's around 12-14 DPO. I'm also not sure if I agree with FF's O day.  I might say you O'd on CD 11.  Not only is CD 10 very early, but your temps and CF don't fully support it, not to mention that you're more likely to get an OPK+ 24-36 hours before O (if OPK's are working for you).  So you  might have actually tested on 9 DPO.

But I have to say your temps are very high!  Your pre-O temps are what most women's LP temps are (and even high for some women!) and your LP temps are in the low fever range.  I'm not at all surprised to hear that you're getting secondary symptoms during your LP.  Seems like you might have rather high progesterone, which can cause a lot of pregnancy like symptoms including migraines, constipation (progesterone slows digestion), hot flashes, acne, irritability, etc.  You mentioned supplements... what else are you taking?  I certainly would not take anything that increases progesterone.

I would try testing again tomorrow morning with FMU with a sensitive, pink dye, non +/- type test and see what you get!!!  Keep us posted!
