Hillsborough/Raritan NJ--crunchy moms? how do you like it?

Hello mamas!  My husband has been offered a job that comes with housing in Hillsborough, near Raritan.  (The job is with the NJ Organic Farming Association.  We'd be living by Duke Farms.)

Is there a community of natural minded parents?  How do you like it in general?  Schools?  Holistic pediatricians?

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks so much!

NJ is such a mixed bag.  LOL!  There are plenty of more natural minded families around though I think the area generally pretty mainstream.  There is a holistic moms group that meets at the Bridgewater library.  There is also a local LLL group.

I don't use the public schools so I'm not really sure about the.  There is a Waldorf school about 20-30 min from Hillsborough.

There are holistic peds around.  I think there is 1 vax-friendly ped in Hillsborough but if you are willing to travel about 20-30 minutes, you'll have more options.  There is a yahoo group called NJVaccinationSupport - they can give you info on area doctors.

There are quite a few farms in traveling distance which is nice.  :)

Hope that helps!
