OK, I will admit that the only reason this dog is in my house is because we have routine visits from bears (the idea being that his barking will scare them off)! Mainly, I didn't want the responsiblity as I have a lot on my plate right now. But we have him and he is a pretty good dog, overall.
He hasn't had a bath yet but I think I would like to wash him more often than I understand most people wash their dogs. I just hate that doggy smell and still wonder if I am a little allergic to him. Is there a good natural formula (to buy or make) that I can use to wash him, say every week? I hear people freak out - that you can't do that as you will dry out their skin, but I used to know a guy who washed his dog that often and used a special formula for it.
A friend suggested wiping him down with baby wipes everyday.
