Talk me out of testing tomorrow....

Here's my chart.  I will be 9DPO tomorrow.

When I got pg with my son I got a BFP on 10 DPO.  But I am sooooo tempted to test tomorrow because I have convinced myself that I am pregnant.  But at the same time, I kind of don't want to test so that I can drink wine and diet coke and eat sub sandwiches a little while longer.  smile.gif

But not knowing is killing me!!!

There's no point to testing at 9 DPO is there????  I mean, even a FRER will come up negative, won't it??

Tell me the truth!!!!!

OMG you guys.... no one is talking me out of this!  I'm so going to do it tomorrow and torture myself unless one of you comes and saves me from myself!

I already opened the package to read the instructions.....

Don't test tomorrow!  You can be patient for at least another day :)

I guess this morning is when you were going to test...wonder what you decided!  I am not the one to ask...I got my BFP (very faint, but definitely there!) yesterday (( DPO) with a First Response Early Results test, and that second line is a whole lot darker today at 10 DPO!  Good luck!!!!

Holy cow!  Congrats on your BFP!  Yay!  joy.gif

And no.... I didn't test.  I sure did think about it, though.  Like, HARD.  But then I decided to not go for the immediate gratification... and potential disappointment.

I'm regretting it, though!!!!  I'm having a really hard time at work and a BFP would have for sure helped me put all of that crap in perspective.

LLL- Did you have any physical symptoms of being pg before you tested?!?!?  Because I am having tons.

Belia, I am glad you didn't test this morning! I tested yesterday 9DPO and it was a BFN. I *knew* it was too early, but it was still super disappointing. So, learn from my mistake! Hold out until you will know for sure that the test is more accurate!

I have been having a lot of cramping and tender breasts. . . .although they could be 9/10th psychosomatic. winky.gif

Belia - No real symptoms for me before my BFP...I never really get any of the typical symptoms before a BFP, though.  Once the HCG was in my system, though, I started feeling a bit queasy...that's really about it.  I'm just not much a of a symptom girl!  GOOD LUCK!  (and amazing restraint!)  I tested way early.  Just bought a bunch of sticks and went for it...hope you get yours!!!

Belia, your chart looks great!  I would wait for 11 DPO if you can, 12-14 being more accurate, of course, but 11 DPO seems to work out for a lot of women with FRER.  If you go get some dollar store tests, though, you could test every morning just for kicks, unless you'd find possibly-too-early BFN's really hard to handle.

The thing is, until today I was SURE I was pregnant.  I mean, sore nips, an overall feeling of being bloated and full somehow, and the big kicker- nausea.  Like, first thing in the morning and whenever I went too long without eating.  Yesterday I was getting my son out of bed and I actually had to dash to the BR and I dry heaved into the toilet.  Then.... I felt fine.  And that's just not like me AT ALL.  I usually have no PMS symptoms to speak of other then irritability and feeling hungry.

But then today- NOTHING.  I felt fine.  Completely normal.  Not a twinge of anything funky.

So now I'm thinking all of my symptoms were completely in my head.

ARGH.  I always think "I am not going to turn into one of those neurotic hysterical people at the end of the TWW" right before I turn into one of those neurotic hysterical people at the end of my TWW!!!!!!  redface.gif

Well, hard to say... I definitely had that gaggy nausea when I didn't eat right when I needed to starting at 8 DPO with my first pregnancy.  But with my other two pregnancies, I didn't notice until much later.  So it could have been pregnancy related, hormone related, something you ate, etc.  But I don't think that the presence of those symptoms and now the lack of them really increases or decreases your chances at this point.  It's still really early!

Well, I tested this morning at 10 DPO like a good girl with a FRER and got a big, fat NOTHING.  Nada.  Zip.  Zero.  Not even doing a hokey pokey and turning myself around made even a hint of a line appear.

I still feel fine.  Absolutely normal.  I'm thinking that all of my "symptoms" were completely in my head.

It's only 10 DPO... you're not out yet.  What if the embryo is just now implanting?  Wait another 2 days and try again.  No AF 2 days later, try again.  FX!

Belia, I am holding out hope for you, testing buddy! hug2.gif I tested at 9DPO and it was totally a no-go (not even a squinter of a line), two days seem to have made all of the difference for me!

You told me to wait, Jaimee!!!  You totally did!!!  But I figure(d) that if I got a BFP at 10 DPO with my last one that I would be the same with this one.  I also didn't know I would feel so disappointed.

And thanks, GradStudent!!!!  That's reassuring to hear.  And like I said in that other thread, I could not be more thrilled for you!  Your first baby!  love.gif
