VBAC friendly ob.gyn in N. Dallas or North Dallas suburbs?

DH and I just found out today we will be moving back to Dallas after being away for 3 yrs. We are trying for #2 and I am really hoping for a VBAC. Are there ANY hospitals/obs in Dallas that are ok with VBAC? With my son, I delivered at Plano Presby and I know *now* that they have a 40% section rate, and of course, I had a section there. I would not even consider going back to my old ob.gyn or delivering there. Please someone give me hope that there is a dr. and a hospital there that are ok with VBAC! DH is not ok with homebirth, or even birth center birth, as his sister had a very bad experience and nearly died giving birth. Actually, it was pretty scary, and I don't blame him for not being willing for us to go that route. Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks mamas!

I just interviewed Dr. Downey and he is very open to VBAC and used by many in the North Texas area and comes highly recommended on the ICAN group... He delivers at Methodist Richardson and one of the Plano hospitals

I used Dr. Fred Cummings in Denton for my VBA3C last June.  At the time he had a 92% VBAC success rate.

There are 3 OBs that come highly recommended. 

Dr. Downey in Richardson

Dr. Cummings in Denton

Dr. Weinstein in Frisco

There are also a number of midwives in the area who are VBAC friendly. Would you consider a birthcenter or homebirth?

Dr. Yolanda Lawson at Baylor Dallas supports VBAC. My BFF had two VBACs with her. Baylor Dallas is also well-known for being pretty supportive of natural birth and not separating moms and babies.
