Crib Mattress Alternatives?

I'm looking for an alternative to traditional crib mattresses and organic crib mattresses.  I don't want the toxic chemicals of a traditional mattress, but we can't afford to spend more than $100 on an organic crib mattress either.  What other options are there?  How do Ikea mattresses measure up?  If we got an Ikea mattress and covered it in something natural would that help?  Or could we let if off-gas before the baby comes?  If so, for how long? 

There's not a lot I'm worried about with this pregnancy, this is the only thing I just can't stop thinking about.  I don't know what to do.  Help!

Have you checked Craigslist for a used organic one? Sometimes if I can't find what I want on there I post an ad looking and then end up getting it from someone....
