Well, DD was born 9 days ago . . . I was 224 when I got pregnant, highest weight during pregnancy was 235. I am now 217.
I probably do more than I should (hard not to when there is an almost 2 year old demanding your attention), but if I didn't I would feel worse. For me, there is a fine line between doing enough to promote healing and circulation and overdoing it. I just hope I'm on the right side of it! We came home on day 3, and I think we have spend some time out of the house running errands since day 5 or 6. I get super stir crazy stuck in the house all the time. We even, slowly, did the state fair on Wednesday. (lots of benches to sit on along the way, thankfully)
I had a vaginal birth, but a 4th degree tear, and I can honestly say that the c-section recovery I had with my first was easier. (I was walking around Target on day 3)
Weight loss wise, I plan to be active as I can tolerate, but am not really focusing on the food part. With my first, I found that in order to lose weight, I needed to eat. If I tried restricting myself, it just would not come off. I try to eat pretty healthy, but mostly just need to remember to eat. I'd love to be down to around 200 by the end of the year, we'll see how that goes!
