non-academic preschool in Rochester, NY area?

Hi. I grew up in the Rochester area and plan to move my family back in the next year or two. My daughter is in a Waldorf preschool now in Massachusetts and I'm not sure where to start looking for something similar in upstate NY. There don't appear to be any Waldorf schools around Rochester but I'm wondering if there are any good play-based preschools. Something where the kids go outside every day in all weather and don't do worksheets. Suggestions?

Hello-

We love Winton Road Nursery School- http://www.wintonroad.org/ - It is a semi-cooperative pre-k, play based. Kids do lots of art, creative stuff, lots of outdoor play, get good and messy. And we LOVE our son's teacher (Donna Parker)! For older children, there is a waldorf-esque school here called the Cobblestone School- www.cobblestone.org -Cobblestone is quite pricey though, around 10-12grand/yr.

Good luck with your move! :)
