book? helping negative kids be less so?

One of my kids is fairly content, but has a bad habit of saying he dislikes almost everything he does.  As in "hates."  As in stuff that he's clearly enjoying almost the entire time. Is there a book for that?

Try "The Fix-It Shop" by Frederick Alimonti  (http://www.alimontibooks.com/my-books.html). The book is about Tommy, who has cerebral paulsy and is in a wheelchair. A newcomer to the town opens a fix-it shop that can magically repair any object. Through their relationship Tommy comes to appreciate himself as is and to stop focusing on his "flaws". I think the book may help your son readjust his perspective and see things more positively. Good luck!
