Pet doors for large dogs and little cats to share

Anyone here have any recommendations for good, long-lasting pet doors?  I'm needing something that my 115 lb. German Shepherd can use but also our two shy cats.  Unfortunately, it's looking like vinyl is the only way to accomplish this from my research.

Thoughts?

i would personally recommend against a pet door, as it is much harder to keep track of your animals and leave an opening for other animals to get in.

I'm opposed to letting cats roam, so I'd recommend a door that has a sensor that is triggered by the dog's collar, and keeps the cats indoors.

Do you have a sliding glass door?  A friend of mine uses plexiglass that he puts a dog door into then fits into his open sliding glass door.  Sets it with bars and can also remove it.  So it can be used when needed rather than all the time.  I'm doing one in my window.  Same idea, door in the plexiglass.  I also have a cat that roams the yard.  And he'll be happy about his new door.
