Membrane Replacement

How often do you do it?

 

I just realized some of my output issues may be due to the fact that I've been pumping like CRAZY for five months without replacing the membranes.

I think you should try it and see if you get better results.

 

I have replaced them already before 5 months, but I am not so sure I needed to.

I replaced mine after about 5 months, but I actually never saw any change in output. Still, the lactation consultant I was speaking with highly recommended doing so, since they do get floppy after awhile.

i ended up replacing them every 3 months, but because i would occasionally put them still attached in the dishwasher and b/c i used the pump 3-4 times a day during the work week...  they do make a HUGE difference, or they did for me.
