I feel you baby! - Page 2

I think I've got a little mover now too love.gif  For the last few days as I'm lying in bed, I'll feel little flutters, and then yesterday, I definitely felt tickles on the inside of my cervix, same sensation as with ds, though I didn't feel him until 20+ weeks.

I thought I was going crazy feeling something the last week! Glad to see I am not alone :)

I think I might be feeling the baby too. I'm not fully convinced though. I didn't feel dd and ds until MUCH later, closer to 20 weeks and I'm only 12 weeks now.  But I'm getting these out of the blue, really strong tickles. It feels like I'm being tickled by a feather from the inside! lol!  I've only felt it twice but both times it was noticeable enough for me to sort of jump with a "oh!" kind of reaction.  I'll be curious to see if it continues or if I'm just imagining it.

I wish I could feel the baby!! I haven't felt it at all...but I also have an anterior placenta - could that contribute to not being able to feel it as soon?

I'm still not feeling anything. :(

"You might be less able to feel your baby's early kicks and punches because the placenta will serve as a cushion between your baby and your tummy. For the same reason, your doctor or midwife may find it a bit harder to hear fetal heart sounds (and it could make amniocentesis slightly more challenging). These situations will resolve if the placenta moves into a more posterior position later on (as anterior placentas commonly do). But the good news here is that, despite those slight inconveniencies, an anterior placenta in and of itself poses no risk to your health."-http://www.whattoexpect.com/pregnancy/ask-heidi/anterior-placenta.aspx

That was just from a google search, so yeah greensad.gif looks like it

my sister has an anterior placenta and still isn't feeling kicks at like 24 weeks I guess.... maybe she kinda is but can't tell?  So I guess it could be a while with that going on.  No worries

oh wow, 24 weeks and still not feeling it? I guess I didn't realize how much of a difference anterior placenta made!

I'm not feeling anything either. I haven't been told I have an anterior placenta, but I did notice when they were doing the nuchal translucency that the tech did throw something up on the screen and label it "anterior." Not sure what that was about. On the flip side, we were able to pick up the baby's heartbeat on the doppler immediately, who who knows. In retrospect I should have asked what she was labeling.

I felt what I think was two tiny kicks for the first time today. It was weird, because it happened while I was very upset and sobbing (long story). Almost like the fetus knew?

I'm not expecting to feel anything for a loooong time since they say first time moms don't feel anything until like 20-22 weeks or later.  I know it could be earlier, but it probably won't be.  I am fine with that, I just wanna know ifit's a boy or a girl and I only have a month left for that!!  Woohoo!

am I imagining things, or did I just get kicked in the cervix? does that happen?

i felt my first at 14 weeks. it felt like  loose butterflies in my stomach all the time or kinda like bubbles popping but not gas. this is number 5 for me and i started feeling my uterus twitching when i wasnt moving around at about 12 weeks. i will be 16 weeks tomorrow. while i have been feeling movement daily, just yesterday i felt a stronger kick while cooking at the stove. just lay still for awhile and relax. the movements you feel may be low and on either side of you stomach. it wont be strong enough to feel with your hand or see with your eyes til several weeks.to me it is a neater feeling than hearing the heart beat. :)

LOL

Yes, it does happen. No, you are probably not imagining it. Your little baby is just saying "Aloha!"

I have a wildly active little bean at the moment :)

eta- cervical kicks are quite common and get really interesting feeling as the baby grows, for me it often feels like being tickled from the inside.

Not yet with this one, but I remember towards the end of my pregnancy with DD I felt that a lot.  It was very uncomfortable...like she was trying to claw her way out.  blush.gif

Oh goodness. I totally forgot about the clawing their way out feeling near the end. ugh.

not much in terms of movement yet here... I've been feeling a few little flutters, but that also could just be hunger/gas lol.  I think with my others I always just told myself it was baby.  I'm much more skeptical this time for some reason until I know for SURE ha!!  I'm about 16 weeks now so maybe soon (but I'm also not sure on my dates at all so I could be like 14-15 too.... will maybe find out tomorrow at my first appt!

I think I just felt the baby move!  It was in the right area, and felt like tiny thumping.  :D
