Angry Birds, not quite a rant.

You read it correctly. This thread is a complaint about a game app. redface.gif But I have got to put my comment out on the net somewhere.

I have ONE star left on original AB. I have all three stars on all levels up through Mine and Dine - except one, 17-7. And I suspect I'm purposefully being held back to force me to buy the Mighty Eagle up grade. Yes I'm now sporting a tin foil hat.

Every single star but one. I even checked out a couple of three star 'walk throughs' and found I'm doing precisely the same moves, using just two birds.

I do not want to buy Mighty Eagle to solve this! It's maddening! >:-[ Lol!

Thank you, carry on!

That's a tough level!  I got 3 stars on every level eventually.  But there is one level in Angry Birds Seasons that no matter what I do, I can't get 3 stars.  I understand how absolutely infuriating it is!

Mighty Eagle won't give you three stars.  It's a different aspect of game play.  It gives you a feather if you achieve total destruction (based on some wacky algorithm).  You *can* use it to skip unbeaten levels (once per hour), but it's really more like a game within the game.

17-7 is just a hard level.  Three stars for it involves luck, I think.

Aha. That's what I wasn't understanding.  So it's not like a big ol' cheat. Thank you, I guess I can take my tin foil hat off!

I thoroughly dislike the boomerang birds, I'm not very accurate with them.
