Winterizing a fuchsia

Hey everybody!

I live in Minnesota (Zone 3-4) and I have had a gorgeous, thriving fuchsia all summer. Now that it is fall and soon winter, I am wondering how I can maintain my beautiful plant. I brought her inside where the temperature is ~70, compared to outside at ~50-55. I really don't want to lose her and I've never had a fuchsia before so I'm not sure what to do. Should I hang in a window? Near a heater vent? Trim anything back?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Sounds ornamental.  With big blossoms?

Cool room.  It can be pretty cold, but not freezing.  If your garage is heated for the car it could go there.  Keep it fairly dry.  Let it go dormant.  Repot in the spring.

Good luck!
