In a bad situation needing advise!

Short story-

       Not married, never was. have a 5 month old. separated from father. have a protection order, violence was involved. been apart for 2 months, he hasnt called once to check on his daughter or to see her. but in court said he wanted to. what should i do?

You have a protection order for a reason. If he wanted to know about his daughter there are legal channels he could go thru. His silence speaks volumes.
