In fact, at 5.5 weeks there is already a tiny bump under my shirts which I am fairly sure is bloating ;-) A lot of "showing" though I think is the way we move our bodies and hold ourselves.... people guessed I was pregnant at 14 weeks last time not because I was a hiding a little belly but because I already had "the walk." From my experience it is possible to hide a pregnancy for a few months but the people who know you well tend to greet your stomach before your eyes as they start to suspect--- we must just exude pregnant fabulousness (or they are figuring out why we seem asleep all the time).
I just loved this post too much not to tell you. We TOTALLY exude pregnant FABULOUSNESS mama!! :o)
For me it was very different each time.
baby #1 started at 120lbs delivered at 184lbs, looked pregnant at 10 weeks (6 lb4oz baby).
baby #2 started at 120lbs delivered at 144lbs, didn't look pregnant at 20 weeks still (5 lb11oz baby).
baby #3 started at 135lbs delivered at 182lbs, looked pregnant by 12 weeks (7 lb12oz baby)
baby #4 started at 130lbs delivered at 165lbs, looked pregnant by 16 weeks (7 lb3oz baby)
baby #5 started at 135lbs delivered at 172lbs, looked pregnant by 16-17 weeks (6 lb14oz baby)
baby #6 started at 150lbs delivered at 175lbs, looked pregnant by 12-13 weeks (4 lb6oz baby)
I'm trying very hard to mind what I'm eating because I've worked SO hard to be skinny again. Every single time my lower abdomen gets very tender and crampy with normal pants/jeans on. This time I'm trying very hard to not let that happen.
