I am a crying WRECK today... Anyone else? I have literally spent about 2 hours crying. Ack! I am trying to destress but it isn't working... Hoping a bubble bath helps.

I've noticed myself tearing up a lot more than usual, but not crying for any length of time.  I hope your bubble bath helps!

Ugh, yes!!! Just today, actually! A friend of mine said something a little cranky to me on FB this morning and I just broke down crying! I knew I was being ridiculous, but it was like my emotions were totally out of control. Luckily I spent some time in prayer today and tried to eat well and drink my water. I feel a lot better now. *hugs* to all you mamas dealing with pregnancy emotions today!

Alicewyf-my reaction was totally out of proportion to a small slight (well, two) and I knew (know) it! But every so often I would just open up the floodgates. A bath had helped, but now I feel red and puffy and icky. now I am gonna go knit (cute baby things!)with a friend to farther relax (and get to share my news with a dear friend and be happy and excited... Ahhh. Not looking so forward to mood swings and tears, but happy for a healthy pregnancy.

Glad to have MDC to vent about it! It's still too big a secret to be able to vent irl.

rebirth, sorry you've had lots of tears. I agree that it can be a rollercoaster at times.

The other morning when I was out for a jog I started to cry---while I was running! This has definitely never happened before. Definitely pregnancy hormones. :)

Yeah.  Pretty soon I'll be crying at commercials with puppies.  It's inevitable.

I spent the whole morning crying the other day. I couldn't seem to turn it off at all. Still get weepy eyes at the slightest thing but I seem to be regulating out a bit.

Bring on the tears!  Got REALLY emotional watching Forrest Gump (on my old VHS tape :) with hubby the other night...Forrest just loved Jenny SO MUCH, so beautiful :)  but, honestly, it turned into an amazing reflection for both of us on how strong and loving we want our relationship to be for now and forever.  (we both ended up crying and snuggling and feeling excited to be bringing new life into the world for our first time).  Those emotions have definitely a bit more roller-coaster-ish, but it's not all bad!

I've been more grouchy than anything else so far.

the crying started already for me. 3 times yesterday and once so far today i have been easily teared up.

I've been tearing up from everything too. Sometimes I don't even know what. Luckily no actual crying, just overly sappy responses to vaguely emotional situations.

Warning: Hallmark movies are very dangerous when pregnant. :)

We watched one last night and by the end I was a goner!

Had to pick up a prescription from the pharmacy for DS today and they have a whole Medela section and I was looking at nursing bras and got all weepy eyed. DH looked at me like I was crazy! I've been getting a lot of the "yes, dear" pats on the shoulder lately...
