My daughter had her 2nd round of shots, all boosters, at age 6 months, on the 7th of this month. The day after the shots, she developed large, firm lumps at the injection sites that were red and hot. When I say large, I mean 1-2 inches in diameter. Currently, the lumps have shrunk to roughly pea size and are no longer red or hot, only warm. What caused this? Would you recommend that she have more boosters in the future? After her first round of shots at age 5 months, she didn't have this reaction. I am concerned. I don't plan on giving her any more vaccines until the lumps she currently has are completely gone. She is not in daycare and is breastfed. Thanks so much for your help!
