Selective vax friendly doc in Montgomery County?

Hi! I am trying to find a doctor in the Germantown/Gaithersburg, MD area that will not make me feel like a horrible parent for delaying/selecting vaccinations. I would be happy with a family practice doc, or DO. I do not necessarily want/need a pediatrician. My kids are ages 3 and 5 and both only partially vaccinated. Any suggestions would be wonderful! Thank you!!

just subbing to see if there are any vax flexible doctors in the area.  Unfortunately I haven't heard of very many, and those that are, aren't taking new patients or don't take insurance.  Would love to learn of more options!

We see Dr. Stern in Highland.  He's Howard County, but the other end of his street is Montgomery County.  He and I have a full conversation at every visit about which vaccines the kids are 'due' for an what the risk factors/pros/cons of those are.  Then *I* decide which vaccines my kids get.  He's very respectful of my decisions.

I second June Fusner! And I have certainly seen kids at least 6 years old or so in there... Umm... and she once told me about a patient she saw through high school - not sure if her practice has changed since then or not.

No, it's not that she only sees babies, but she only accepts new patients as newborns. I've talked to the office staff on multiple occasions and it doesn't seem like it's something they ever budge on either.

Hi, I'm looking for a doc in the same area - Germantown preferably, but am willing to go into Rockville at the farthest.  Did you have any success? My little guy is now 8 months old & hasn't seen a doc since he was 4 months old because all the pedi offices I call have refused to treat us given the delayed vaccination schedule we are choosing to follow.  Please PM me if you have had any success - I really would appreciate any tip you can give!
