I'm going to have to go buy a soda.  I can't eat.  Bleagh.  I think a can of coke will settle my stomach enough to get something nutritious in there.

*shock*  Admitting HFCS consumption on MDC!  ;)

:)

I've been buying seltzer water and mixing it with pineapple orange juice.  I haven't had a real soda in a few weeks, so this is working for me now.  I love the fizz and the juice makes it sweet too.

I'm really only drinking diet 7up and diet caff free coke because nothing else stays in.  I can't drink water and I'm struggling with any food.  I've only lost 2-3lbs at 6w3d though, so not too bad just yet.

I made a super yummy dinner.

Sweet and Sour Tofu

Stir Fry Veggies

Brown Rice and Linguini

Mmmm, I'm excited for leftovers tomorrow.

today i made homemade black bean patties and topped them with an avocado and some fat free sour cream.  was very tasty.  also had some greek yogurt, my green smoothie, and probably too much peanut butter, a green salad with tuna

I managed to shove down some of this yesterday: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/moroccan-style-stuffed-acorn-squash/detail.aspx DW made it. It was tasty, but eating is so hard.

I am eating a lot of Fage yogurt with honey. I managed to get down a bean and cheese quesadilla with salsa and plain yogurt yesterday. It's all about forcing myself to eat big meals, then I feel okay for a few hours. I think the B6 is helping some too.

Breakfast type foods tends to be easiest, and I ate 2 moochi rice cakes today (good for milk supply I've heard).

I need to go to whole foods today... A quest for watermelon and some type of protien that sounds good... Maybe some sushi/sashimi (a food though forbidden I am comfortable with). And possibly some type of soup...

I would absolutely kill for some good sushi right now. I ate so. much. sushi. during DDs pregnancy!  The problem is, even NOT pregnant, there is only one or two places in the state where I live that I will go to...I know their fish is fresh, etc...and they are so far away from me. :( Eat an extra piece for me!!

Last night we had braised lamb and sweet potatoes. Every day scrambled eggs cooked in butter.

The other night baked spaghetti squash topped with spicy tomato sauce and italian sausage.

When it snowed over the weekend I made spicy, smoky chili with chipotle.

I have an urge for meat right now, lots of it, grilled. Tonight we will probably have steak and sweet potatoes.

Avery'smomma: I am DYING for some sushi (raw,... not cooked), but my husband won't allow it. I happen to think the risk is so tiny to be almost non-existent... but this is his baby too so I am abiding. I haven't had any problem not drinking caffeine, the lack of wine in my life surprisingly hasn't bothered me one bit (even at a wedding this past weekend), and I have obligingly heated up my leftovers and avoided listeria carriers. However, I would give anything for a caterpillar roll right now! (at my local sushi joint that is a spicy, crunchy tuna roll topped with avacado and a drop of spicy mayo) YUM.

I am not really kidding when I tell him we are stopping there for food on the way home from the birthing center after I give birth!!

OMG, a rainbow roll would be heavenly... or so I say, once it is in front of me I would probably be dry heaving.   Maybe I just want the wasabi and soy sauce!

I'll eat extra for all you ladies... seriously, don't twist my arm.. I LOVE sushi! I would kill my DH if he tried to keep it from me... I had hyperemesis for my entire pregnancy with DS and sushi was the only thing keeping me out of the hospital for many weeks.... I lost about 15% of my body weight, and I am doing all I can to avoid that this time, especially since I am starting this preg at 100lbs, not 115, and am nursing a toddler! I cannot do that at all. So, sushi it is, and anything else appealing and healthy!

all i want is meat and orange juice. i crave orange juice even though i shouldnt drink it. i am dying to make some lasagna too. i make the best homemade lasagna. there is no leftovers. i hhave very few aversions and very little nausea, just hunger, ravenous hunger. but leftovers i cant eat. i can not stand the smell of leftovers, and chicken. i love chicken and absolutely can not eat it right now. in any form. something about the texture. i ate a blueberry bagel with plain cream cheese this morning. yummmm. something about blueberries lately.

Oh man....that is SO rough!! The risk really is non-existent if you get your sushi(sashimi) from a place with fresh seafood and the health benefits of eating raw fish and seaweed are like, UNREAL. It's just SO good for your body. Ugh...I hope maybe he lets up a bit after the first tri!!! Tun rolls are my absolute favorite, ESPECIALLY spicy tuna rolls...this crunchiness you speak of is enticing for SURE!

Oh man...I know what I want for my birthday this year!! I want a date night at my favorite sushi place....and I want to walk in with the intention of spending whatever it takes to get my fill!! Mmmmm.
