Screeching! Will it stop?

DD is about 15 months old. And she has a VOICE. She's generally a very happy baby (toddler?), but boy, can she SCREECH! It's ear-splitting! She's been doing it for at least 3 months - it can be happy, excited, unhappy, overtired...but it hurts! Has your child done this - and please tell me it will stop? Soon?

It will stop. My son was a terrible screecher (and my husband has tinnitus, which is a BAD combination!). I don't remember exactly when it stopped, but he no longer screeches.

 

He does yell though....

DS1 is still screeching away at 2.5.
