so gross! I'd just use a wash cloth to brush my teeth if i didn't have a toothbrush available.

Haha! So funny. SIL and I had this very conversation last weekend. She was SO disgusted that I would use someone else's toothbrush regardless of whose it is.

I voted yes. I do.  Doesn't bother me a bit. If I saw particles of old food in it, I wouldn't, but it's always clean, and neither DH nor I has an issue with using one another's stuff. Having said that, I have a VERY low gross out factor, and would likely do many other things that the average person would find disgusting. lol.gif

I would use his in a pinch but I know that he would immediately throw it out if he knew.  Things like that just don't gross me out very much but he's touchy about it.

I wouldn't go out of my way to use it, if I had mine. But sure, why not? What's the big deal? Seriously-- do you not kiss your partners? Do you not share saliva during that? What the heck is the difference, really? I wouldn't share with somebody I wasn't intimately involved with, for sure. But DH? No, it doesn't squick me the same way.

would, and have, in a pinch.

also, see this thread for more surprising things people won't share with their mate:)

Yep!  I figure we've already shared germs so it's no biggie:)

Sorry, I have to say no. Too much yuck factor for me.

Sure, we do it all the time, especially when we travel and we forget the toothbrushes.  That way we only have to buy/ask for one.  :)

No way.  I'd rather use my own finger with toothpaste in it if I didn't have a toothbrush.

exactly.

Absolutely not!! I do many things that I probably shouldn't mention on here but using his toothbrush is not one of them..

In a pinch, I don't have a problem with it, but we sterilize our toothbrushes after each use, so the ick factor isn't that big.

No way! lol Oh man that grosses me out....After being in school for dental assisting, and knowing full well whats in someones mouth EVEN if they brush their teeth 2 times a day....no way.

yes i dont see the problem i've done it when i forgot mine or something its not that big of a deal to me

I don't think I would make a habit of it... but I have on occasion. I do soak it in listerine before and after. We've shared much more than just saliva, so why not? wink1.gif

Uhh, no.  Kiss him sure, but tooth brush no.

I would if I needed to for some reason.  We have done a lot more germy things together.  whistling.gif
