Gender Guessing / Confirming

We're getting close to that time ladies! I know we have at least one who's already gotten confirmation she's having a boy (NicMom?). How many others are getting ready for their ultrasounds? How many aren't going to get ultrasounds, or aren't going to find out if they are? Do you *know* what you're having in your heart? Let's track it! (Thread idea borrowed from other DDCs)

Gender guess: No clue. stork-suprise.gif

Confirmation Date: First and only ultrasound planned on Dec 2.

Gender: ????

Thoughts/Notes: Everyone thinks this is a girl except DH. Mom, friends, random acquaintances.

I've known I'm having a girl since five days preggo!  We had IVF with some genetic testing so we knew at implantation.  We already have a boy so I'm excited to have one of each!!

Gender guess: stork-girl.gif

Confirmation Date: Nov. 22nd u/s

Gender:

Thoughts/Notes: I've been feeling girl from the beginning, but lately I've been saying "he" a lot, so I'm less sure now (at 16 weeks).  I know DH would be extra excited about a boy, since this is probably our last baby.  Guess we'll see!

ETA: I was completely sure about DD being a girl from the beginning, and a girl would sort of fit better into our family at this point.... Plus no circ conversations with DH.

ETA again: Wrong about u/s date.

Gender guess: stork-girl.gif

Confirmation Date: ultrasound in early december

Gender: ph says girl, timimg says girl or boy, moon when ovulating says boy, chinese calender says boy...so im guessing girl. ;)

Thoughts/Notes:  im obsessed.....

Gender guess: No idea

Confirmation Date: (ultrasound/birth) October 31, but not planning to find out!

Gender: We'll know on April Fool's Day!

Thoughts/Notes: We found out with my daughter, and when the tech said "girl," I kind of freaked out. I'm from a family of all boys, so the thought of a girl completely threw me off. It of course didn't end up mattering at all, and just caused undue stress for a few weeks. So this time around, we're just going to let it be a surprise. As long as I'm healthy and kiddo is healthy, that's all we really care about at this point. :)

gender guess: boy

confirmation date: nov 8 US

gender: ????

thoughts/notes:  with my dd, I was convinced she was a he, even though we had the anatomy scan and before birth owned a lot a pink ...everything.  this time, i'm feeling blue, but who knows, i was fantastically wrong last time around. this is likely our last, so it would be great to have one of each, but then, another girl would fit right in too... so i guess we'll see!!!!

Gender guess: stork-boy.gif

Confirmation Date: TBA

Gender: TBA

Thoughts/Notes: I am not sure if I'll be getting an ultrasound yet. I've felt BOY this whole time...and I've never been wrong with any of my kids. Odds are that I'm probably due for a wrong guess/intuition with #5. rolleyes.gif  But...I'm sticking with my gut and guessing BOY!

Gender guess: stork-boy.gif

Confirmation Date: Ultrasound in about 3 weeks

Gender:

Thoughts/Notes: I have been thinking boy since I heard the heartbeat, I was just flooded with this feeling that it was a boy. Hubs says girl.  (We have a bet going, if it's a boy, he has to clean the bathroom 6 times, if it's a girl I have to catch up all the laundry in 1 week.)

Gender guess: stork-boy.gif?

Confirmation date: Nov. 16th!

Gender: TBD

Thoughts/Notes: I'm thinking boy this time around and hubby thinks girl.  With DD I only had 2 pregnancy related dreams and both babies were boys, but I vaguely remember a little girl in the background which looked an awful lot like DD now.  When I thought about DD when I was awake, I always pictured a girl, so maybe the boy baby in the dreams was this one? As long as that's the only part of the dream that comes true, I'll be happy because i was birthing a breach baby.  DH thinks girl because he is a head football coach and most of the head coaches he knows had only girls.  I'd be happy with either.  A girl would be nice, because we still have everything from DD, but I'd also like a boy since this will be our last and I would love one of each.

Gender guess: stork-suprise.gif

Confirmation Date: ultrasound (I hope!) Week of 11/15.

Gender: ??

Thoughts/Notes: We were "trying" for a girl with general (non-medical) gender sway stuff, but I'm not really sure what we're having since it was all just a 'for fun' experiment really.

Gender guess: stork-girl.gif

Confirmation Date: ultrasound 11/2

Gender: ??

Thoughts/Notes: I KNEW DD was a girl, and I'm pretty darn confident this one is as well. Moreover, DD got really sick right at ovulation, so our last deposit was several days before that. According to Shettles in TCOYF, we have almost an 80% chance of having a girl.

Gender guess: stork-girl.gif

Confirmation Date: (ultrasound/birth) I have an US 10/27 (will be 15w5d) maybe will find out then otherwise either the end of November/begining of December.

Gender: (quote your post and update when you know!)

Thoughts/Notes: Hoping for a girl and feeling that it might be one as I am having totally different symptoms than I did with DS.  This time I am have more nausea/dry heaves and am still having them at 15w3d.  Although I had an US at 13w6d and the tech thought it was the makings of a boy, but I am not convinced.  The heartbeat has been above 140 with all the US (range 143-173).

Gender guess: stork-girl.gif

Confirmation Date: maybe the ultrasound on 11/16 but we are still discussing if we want to know before the baby comes

Gender:

Thoughts/Notes: We have a boy and really want at least one of each. We are also in the process of adopting so finding out if this one is a boy or girl may help us decide if we want to adopt a specific gender or not. No matter what, we are just hoping that everything is fine on the anatomy scan.

Gender guess: stork-girl.gif

Confirmation Date: 11/17

Gender: stork-boy.gif

Thoughts/Notes:  Last pregnancy my dreams all pointed to girl, and this time most of them point to girl but I have had one with a boy.  DD has been telling me there is one of each in there, but when she says it is a single it is always a girl.  I'm not sure we are going to find out the sex at the scan, but I'm leaning towards find out.

Gender guess: stork-girl.gif

Confirmation Date: need to schedule...about four weeks from now (10/27...so around Thanksgiving)

Gender: (quote your post and update when you know!)

Thoughts/Notes: From the start I have strongly felt that this baby is a girl. My husband feels it pretty strongly also. My son has always maintained (for about two years) that he has a baby sister, so maybe he has just always known that she was out there waiting to come? Time will tell. This is definitely our last and really I will be thrilled either way.

Gender guess: stork-boy.gif

Confirmation Date: Ultrasound coming up on 11/1.  If baby wants us to know, otherwise we won't be disappointed to wait till birth :)  We went back and forth a lot on this issue.

Gender:

Thoughts/Notes:  I've felt boy very strongly for a while now.  Our midwife and my Aunt also feel boy and they're known for their extreme accuracy.  DH feels girl.  If we find out we're having twins, then I'm guessing boy/girl as it's something DH and I have had a feeling for since the beginning.

Gender guess: /stork-girl.gif

Confirmation Date: Early December

Gender: (quote your post and update when you know!)

Thoughts/Notes: Very different pregnancy...hormonal mess, breaking out badly, don't have a bottomless appetite, my hair stayed curly, etc.  All this makes me pretty positive it's a girl, along with a dream where we announced the name we chose.  She had blond hair!

Gender guess: stork-boy.gif

Confirmation Date: Most likely confirmed at birth since at this point we are not planning on an ultrasound.

Gender: (quote your post and update when you know!)

Thoughts/Notes: I've been having some boy vibes, but the biggest thing is boy dreams, and mostly the realities of my appetite. This may sound odd, but for all 3 of my girl pregnancies I HATED ground beef in any form, even the sight or smell of it made me sick. This time, like with my son, I love it...hamburgers, chili, it doesn't matter, if it's got hamburger, etc in it I'm dying for it.
