S/O of the cold weather pajama thread

I was really happy with one piece fleece jammies for DD the last two winters but now she is potty trained. Not only can't she manage to take off zipper pjs by herself (this infuriates her) but then I have to strip her down to her undies in our freezing bathroom for middle of the night peeings (this infuriates her too). She would probably be warm enough in cotton two piece pajamas layered with an undershirt if she would keep her blankets on all night but I haven't found a way to make that happen.

I was wondering what other people are doing for warm winter pajamas for their potty trained kids?

We switched from one piece sleepers to two piece cotton flannel pjs once DD was potty trained; we tuck in the top into the bottom and it stays that way most nights.  I like cotton and choose not to use polyester fleece even though it would be warmer; DD has excema and breathable cotton is essential.  Like most kids, my DD starts out with covers but quickly throws them off.  Since we're bed-sharing, we turn on a space heater in the room for all of us (and are able to turn down the thermostat for the rest of the house overnight).  The space heater has it's own safety concerns you would have to think about of course.

I saw some two-piece fleece PJs by Carter's today at Target.  That might be an option...or maybe two-piece cotton PJs with a sweatsuit on top?

I am seeking warm jammies, too.  Our house if so cold at night.  I find it hard to find the ones that are chemical free--don't most of the flannel ones have the flame retardants and stuff in them?

I find cute wool ones, but they are so expensive!  So I am just going in circles.  We usually wear the snug fitting cotton ones, but those are too cold now.
