'Vaccines are great' children shows on TV

Right now there is a re-run of Sid the Science Kid on TV where the kids get the flu shot. I've seen this episode before. It makes me sicker every time I watch it but I can't help but to watch it. The doctor says 'I got my flu shot last month and now I'm as healthy as can be!'.  And then the kids get shots and are all happy about it and the band aids they get. Vaccines help you stay healthy for a looong time. It just makes me sick in my stomach. crap.gif

I wasn't wild about it, either, but I figure that as long as I am the greater influence in my kids' lives, then no worries. Sid gets flu shots, we don't,

no big deal.

Well I hate Sid the Science Kid but that's just me.  :-)
