With DS I didn't want to eat anything. DH squeezed me fresh OJ several times and I had a spoonful of honey and some herbal tea near the end. I kind of wish I had forced myself to eat something though, because I was completely exhausted at the end, and my labor was only 14 hours.
This time I have coconut water and recharge (I don't usually drink bottled juice, but the recharge was on my birth supply list) and all kinds of snacks for the midwives, dh, ds, and my friend and her daughter who are coming over to watch ds. Almond butter, bread, cheese and crackers (although I don't eat the cheese), granola, fruit. There's soup in the freezer that I will plunk into the fridge as soon as I go into labor and I'm planning on making and freezing some muffins to have on hand as well.
If I don't feel like eating again, I will have DH make me up protein smoothies and force myself to drink them. I've been having gall bladder pain the last few weeks, and they are all I can eat that doesn't hurt. I usually put in greens (kale, spinach, beet greens, etc), one or two bananas, almond milk, frozen berries, and hemp protein powder. This might be best anyway, since I definitely don't want my gall bladder attacking me while I'm in labor!
