Hi all,

Just posting to say hi! I have two wonderful boys (4y and 5m) and love them to bits, and I'm a grad student to boot. A little exhausting, at times...! But also really fantastic.

I've been a lurker here for about a year (since discovering the site while pregnant with my second child) and love the postings! I'm trying to start posting more: I read the site regularly but tend to think that I don't really have anything vital to add, but I'm trying to change that, in part so I can be more a member of the community and in part so I can join--eventually!--some of the private forums. Anyway, I thought posting here would be a good place to start :)

Hi!  Welcome to MDC.  It's great that you've decided to start posting.

I'm not sure how much you've looked around, but thought I'd point out a few forums you might find useful:

The Childhood Years (ages 3-8/9ish)--- for your 4 year old

Life With a Babe (pre-toddler)---- for your 5 m.o.

I'm not sure where you live, but MDC has a "Tribal" area where people living in the same state post together if you want to do any IRL meetups:
