Joseph Edward joined our family on my birthday! (Emergency c-section, but happy ending!)

Joseph Edward joined us on my birthday, October 13th, at 10:16 pm. Our other children are in love!

He weighed 8 lbs, 1 oz

Towards the end of my pregnancy, I was dealing with severe polyhydramnios. Labor was fine until my water broke, then poor little guy's heartrate couldn't keep up. After lots of quick position changes, oxygen, etc, I was rushed back for an emergency c-section (my first after four vaginal births) Disappointing to say the least, but we are so grateful we were in a large hospital that could deal with complications quickly.

We are so excited to see Joseph grow and change!
